I’ve been a dog trainer for many many many many years. I am Successful in competition. But I have to say that dog daddy you’re the best at what you do. There is no one as good as you are with what you are doing with those aggressive dogs. Congratulations and I’m always thrilled to watch your videos. Very few people would try the things you do but thank God you are able to do it because that’s exactly what the dogs need. Thank you❤
Only a few men have I have seen to be able to do this with such violent animals. This man has a great gift and knowledge. I thank him for all he is do helping all the people and dogs and sharing on social media.
I admire family’s who put their pride aside knowing they will be subject to internet scrutiny yet they take this opportunity for the sake of THE DOGS. I might not like how they parent their pets but I can absolutely respect them putting their pet before their pride and letting this be filmed in their home to help others in their shoes.
I agree totally. I was kindof blown away by the daughter asking to please help her be friendly with their dog as she never has been able to pet the dog before. Dog daddy - sure no problem gimme 5 min.
It's always, exactly, this. Put your pride aside and get help, whether it's dogs or children or addiction or obsessions, etc.. With dogs it's obvious that they too need to be happy. With our other problems you're going to have to accept the fact that you too deserve to be happy. No matter how big or small the issue, people sometimes get stuck, and that is perfectly o.k.. Just honor yourselves and get unstuck.
They put the little dogs in a dangerous position. Little dogs and big dogs are a bad combo because the little dogs get trampled let alone one gets attacked. I know they think it’s cute when they get along, and it is, but it’s definitely not optimal. Why is this shit so common?
@@marka8537 my mom has always had little ankle biters and I’ve had big dogs and always 💯 percent of the time it’s my moms little dog that tries attacking my dog so no ur statement is way off big or small they can coexist together in perfect harmony lol f they are properly trained!!!! My moms yorkie and my 230 LB king Rott wud cuddle with each other all the time when they were alive ❤
I couldn't help but cry when I saw that big, beautiful pup start to run after the pack and feel comfortable enough to start to play with them. ❤️ It must have felt so good to just be a dog.
Indeed. It was an incredibly important and sweet moment. I always watch Dog Daddy when I need cheering up! He’s had my heart for a long time- I have watched him do miracles!
This family gets it. She says at the end “I want to make sure that I keep up with this” emphasizing that she knows it’s HER being trained more than the dog 👏🏼 👏🏼
Absolutely correct. It is always the humans that are at fault for a dog's "bad" behavior. Most people shouldn't have dogs. Or kids, for that matter, but that's another subject. But good for these people, seeking help. Good for them! Now, if only everyone were so smart, the shelters would not be killing millions of dogs a year. That is truly shameful. People buying large and/or aggressive dogs when they lack the knowledge to train, handle and live with them should be a crime, as it is the dog who ends up suffering because of the person's egos. Go to a shelter and see how many pits and pit crosses are there.........makes me cry every time I see that, but, I go to shelters to help friends when they get a dog. They are all the same, full of dogs waiting to be put down, dogs that would have been great in the right hands.
@famouskate9071 boy oh boy... couldn't agree with you more. Wish everyone thought like you. We owe them. Without the horse and the dog, we would not been able to settle this country. We owe them so much. They're still helping us with police work, seeing eye dogs, cadaver dogs, protection, any service dogs, companion dogs. The list is endless. Dogs if raised correctly will give their lives up for their families. They're very intuitive. Some have been known to save their owners from cancer. In the right hands, dogs love us, and yes, they do feel love, anger, grief, ect. For example, pits have a bad rap but it's us that make them that way. Search for Weela the pit bull that saved people, horses and other dogs in a flood. The military once had a pit bull that saved many American soldiers. The RCA dog was a pit. The Little Rascals... one of the stars/actors was a pit. There are so many true stories about these heros. The military may use pitbulls again. There are endless stories about these beautiful creatures but they don't make a big deal out of these heros. You only hear about the ones that went wrong because of abuse, or stupid owners. I can go on and on but I'll stop now. Yo people, do the research, get the professional training, and as Cesar Milon says... exercise, discipline, then affection. Love all of God's creatures.
The Guide elaborates on the techniques used on the show. The examples given in the ru-vid.comUgkxECnmSvBSv_NGWx4_ChD73pF3NYZwI2F3 are helpful and some of the techniques suggested very useful. One such technique/tool suggested was the lure stick to encourage a small dog to keep up with the heel command. I have a small dog who lags behind smelling any and everything and find it hard to keep bending over while walking to his level. The lure stick is great also for another dogs focus and sprinting at anything that catches her eye. The stories about different dogs, their different temperaments, have been helpful, especially Lulu's: After reading about Lulu's challenges I felt relief concerning one of my rescues that I have had for 10 years. Over many years I have checked out many training books from the library, watched different shows, DVDS, bought training books, taken lessons and this book is the best by far! Kindness, patience and perseverance works.
To see the married couple at the end of the video so close, was very revealing…. Dog daddy ain’t just training dogs. He’s saving relationships too. God bless Augusto.
It’s amazing how much dude understands every little facet of a dogs behavior. From what I’ve seen a dog needs 2 things above and beyond anything else, consistency and leadership
That boerboel was so adorable being walked in a circle and being told he was such a good boy. And when they gave him the big deal it was almost as if he was proud to get the praise for being the Goodest boi. I love mastiffs
Me too. At the mo I have a boerboel, a cane corso and an xl bully. I believe mastiffs and bull breeds - when bred and raised right - will go to the ends of the Earth to please you, but if you do them wrong they have long memories. They won't savage you but you'll NEVER get the level of partnership that you could have had. I would never have any other type of dog. But I detest other dog owners who think it's ok to let their spiteful little rats chew on mine, but the slightest reaction from mine they start screaming about dangerous dogs.
@@lineprestkvrn9014 boerboel aka South African mastiff. According to standard can be any shade of red, brown, fawn, brindle or black. But yes, when most of us think of boerboel we think of the light brown colour with black snout.
@@viggilante5349Ah, lookie here, ‘Zaccy the No Go Show’ fanboy, colour me shocked 🙄🤪😒 Guess ya somehow missed aall the positive comments from past clients all over his pages, not to mention the recently uploaded super praise from the Animal Control Officers/Dog Behaviourists that you twits sent to watch DD’s Classes and now are singing his praises, thoroughly impressed with his methods and results I’m soo very glad they’ve been impressed and saying they’ll begin incorporating what DD teaches. Why? Well, beyond it pisses your ‘good self’ off, simply means vastly more doggos Will Be Saved 😊❤ That makes my heart sing.. whilst yours probably continues to shrivel Don’t worry mate, looks to be you got the trifecta running - brainless, heartless and clueless Bingo! 🙃😘
@@viggilante5349 Abuse? I never once saw that at any point. Having watched many of his video's he is more like the Dog Whisperer than an abuser. He takes risks and is a body language and behavior analyst than anything I've seen from many other trainers. Including Cesar and other's. While they are good in my experience this guy is a guru and is widely respected as an expert. Dog handling means to be in control of the dog with a focus of re-directing at the proper moment. That was poignantly demonstrated here so before you start yelling Abuse, figure out that your limited knowledge and experience is far less than what was shown here and Consider wisely before running off at the emotional side of your opinion(s).
I am in awe of Dog Daddy and his technique with the dogs and the family. I admire this family, they didn’t want to give up because obviously love their dogs, they have tried traditional training, they lived with the dogs separated, they have had to limit family/guests in their home and probably social activities because they need to be at home monitoring their dogs. I hope they continue doing what they learned from Dog Daddy. Also, I love that Dog Daddy travels with his pack of superbly trained and beautiful dogs so they are not left at home.
God bless this family for doing everything in their power to honor the commitment they made when adopting all their dogs. As someone in involved in rescue, I wish there were more people like this instead of all of the people who dump their dogs for having issues (often times issues they've caused the dog(s)). Great work Dog Daddy, not get your ars to Cleveland, OH!!
I have a Boerboel (SA Mastiff) trust me their size does not equate their power, they are so much stronger. He did amazing, much respect to everyone involved. At 1 years old they do go through a change and their guarding instinct is huge.
Be the leader your dog needs, otherwise they take things into their own paws and then we have real problems. And when you’re outweighed and outmuscled by your dog or dogs, leadership is key to a happy pack life.🐾🐾
Nice family trying to be good loving owners. Dog Daddy showed the skill of distraction from stress while desensitizing to touch along with positive reinfocrment to touch and positive supervised socialization. Whew. Simple yet challenging. Awesome. Another great educational video.
These people deeply love their dogs! Such difficulties they've endured, to the point of feeling the loss of their peace and freedom, yet they didn't rehome or abandon any of these dogs. They persisted more than most in pursuing a resolution to the problems they were having. A lot of folks would have euthanized the great dane after it attacked the other dog. Great respect for this couple who loved and were devoted enough to their dogs to go above and beyond to fix the problems and keep their dogs alive and well. Thank God for The Dog Daddy!
What a good idea, taking us into the homes and showing us your techniques. So good to watch the change in the owners and the dogs. Dog Daddy you're the new, real, live Superhero. Love this new content.
Dog daddy you did it again! That couple is very patient a d true dog people to stick it out with this setup, they tried alot and came to the solution at the end of the road. Dog daddy saved the day! Take my hat off for you dog daddy! You have such deep knowledge of animals it's just amazing!!!
ANOTHER Successful Accomplishment to ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE for the dogs AND their Owners. 🐕 Thank you, Dog Daddy AND TO THE OWNERS for filming this. You give HOPE to others that it is 'OK to reach out for help,' no matter WHAT the situation. ❤️
That was the most intense video I've seen! I'm sure it happens all the time, but it's so wonderful to see the transition! I respect the fact that you work for days with their humans to ensure progress! I just love you!❤
It seems that most of your teaching is geared towards teaching the humans the proper way to be a good dog parent. Thank you on behalf of all the misunderstood and misdirected dogs of the world.
I bet they wanted Dog daddy to stay with them forever 😂 they’re big ol dogs they got there, powerful.. These video’s are also educating people to be more selective when choosing a breed that they can handle. No criticism for the couple as it’s a learning curve we are all seeing. These video’s will help thousands of dogs & owners that will reflect on less dogs being placed in rehoming centres 👋😊
This couple is adorable but literally I wish they wouldn't have those two big dogs they're just not for them, But dog daddy to the rescue 👍🏼 and a great job he did 👍🏼👍🏼
Kelly Ann that is not for you to judge....you don't know them and all your doing is watching a video...they are working on it and having Dogdaddy help them Mind your business...
Some people should not get certain breeds. The dog changed at a year (not really there were subtle signs beforehand these owners didn't see or address.) The dog realized they weren't the boss, he felt he had to take over to feel safe in every situation since they were not confident owners. So glad you are able to help people or this would turn into a huge liability and sad situation for the dog.
I agree with everything you've said except I never see him educating the owners. Which, in a case like this will almost 100% result in the owners carrying on as they were and the dogs returning almost immediately to business as usual. Boerboels are a very dominant, stubborn breed - more so, in my opinion than any other mastiff breed (I've had boerboels, cane corsi and bull mastiffs for over 15 years and bull breeds for many years before) and they need constant reminding they are not pack leader.
@@mastiffsal8185 understand what your saying and agree, I'm assuming he was there for a longer period of time and he went over a lot more than the edited version posted. I would still like to see an update on how they are doing in 30, 60, 90 days etc. Otherwise I'm not sure they understand what they have there. Lol 🙏
@@marka8537 It's just a matter of taste. I see a lot of small dogs and just think "what's the point?" They make a horrible noise - almost constantly, they go looking for fights and then the bigger dog who finally has enough is ALWAYS blamed, they are fussy eaters, they are no protection from someone who genuinely means you harm. Big dogs on the other hand (esp bull breeds and mastiffs) are good with children, quiet, they have enough guarding instinct that you are safe with them around and they are not going to be put off (or damaged) by any amount of kicking. They are also funny, sweet and loving and almost everyone who has met mine who was previously scared of large dogs has fallen for them in minutes.
@@mastiffsal8185 it’s the great social divide. Those who would bring blood sport dogs into a neighborhood with docile pets and children and those who know better. Something is amiss with your ability to rationalize. It’s very simple - the dog breeds that kill and maim the most children are definitely not a good idea around children. Also, I would never put my dog in harms way having him protect anyone or anything. It’s my job to protect him and my family. I’d never leave such an important responsibility to a stupid dog. My last dog was a rottweiler mix. He was trained to leave the room if even a voice was raised. My dog now, chi/rat terrier doesn’t bark much, doesn’t start fight and is the easiest to train of all the dogs I’ve worked with Here’s a link with some reality for anyone reading this other than you as we know you’ll deny, deflect & defend the shitbulls as all pit addicts do blog.dogsbite.org/2022/05/pit-bulls-lead-bite-counts-across-us.html
I've never seen such an amazing range of designer matched tracksuit outfits! But even better is what you do with man's best friend! I love watching your understanding of their psychology and nailing it every time. Do you plan any trips to Australia during this year?? Thanks again DD 🤙
aussies deported him before he could leave the airport :( and about his outfits, well, it is the Dog Daddy after all! He's like the superhero saving many dogs from rehoming, shelter life and euthanasia. Bloke deserves a medal :)
Impressive and touching. Great healing. I am watching dog daddy s work now since a long time and I find him genuine, and he really helps and knows what he is doing. Also what is new for me, that dogs can change and learn so FAST .... amazes me.
Dog 🐶 Daddy you have done it again , you're the greatest ❤️💯👩🏽🦳 you never seem to amaze me . God bless you for all that you do to help all dog's across the world 🌎
Dog Daddy, well done on several different levels. This family is so proud of their dog's, & themselves, it's hard work with great rewards. This is a truly wonderful experience for the family. It has brought them together on another level. What's wrong in being proud of a Job well done? Absolutely Nothing. The family was Lucky to find you.
I am a CKC registered Dane breeder and owner and have never had a pup show aggression until recently. These dogs are known for being gentle giants, loved as “Scooby-Doo “ and “Marmaduke” but people forget they are massive animals, notorious leaners who simply knock down people with affection, block hallways and doorways in demand for a vigorous belly rub, have a thin short coat where here in Canada means they are indoor dogs. They have very large litters and these dogs require constant, vigilant training and handling from a very young age. They are very expensive as we ultrasound each for heart deformities and hip dysplasia. They are known by vets as “the heart breaker breed” as heart failure is common. Their average lifespan is 6-8 years and most have food allergies to corn and chicken. Just try and find food or treats without these foods although now there are many more dog foods out there with alternate diets. A young Dane will consume a 50 lb bag of dog food every 10 to 12 days. We recently lost a beautiful tiger tail brindle I had loaned out as a therapy dog in a local hospital. The handler would provide treats for the patients to give him and he died tragically from anaphylaxis due to the corn and chicken treats. The handler forgot his Epipen, and the hospital would not provide one. He died scared and in pain as he suffocated from the swelling in his throat. If these dogs show aggression, it is fear based and with patient, consistent training is easily overcome. My point here is that these beautiful animals are high maintenance animals and if you do not have the time, energy and funds to maintain them, do not have one. I believe the young female in this video is also unaltered and is likely showing bitch aggression to the female Yorkie. God bless Dog Daddy for his gift with these animals and sharing it on this platform to educate!
im canadian and in the future i would love a well bred great dane, but im scared of all the health issues. would you say that good breeding can mean the difference between a dane dying an early death and having many health issues or do you think it's almost inevitable? i don't wanna lose a dog way sooner than i should have, but i really want a bigger dog in a few yrs
Dog Daddy-Augusto you're great!!! The people were overwhelmed and the dogs were overwhelmed with your technique and knowledge...God has blessed you...let everything that has breath praise the Lord...he gave us dogs to be our companions and you make that possible!!!!❤
Like I keep mentioning, what Dog Daddy does is LITERALLY life changing. For the dogs that he is able to heal with his quiet directions and for their owners, who with guidance from "the DogDaddyMaster", are able to not ONLY unite their fur babies with their HumanityFamilies in peace, he manages to bring EVERYthing together with a big ball of happy LOVE 🙌👨👩👧💜🐕. A true honor to witness, from a NON dog owner who only °wishes° that she could walk again, to give one a life it deserves...(MS is not a kind disease). But the instant smile every DD video brings, overfills my heart and I unload ALL of that love on to my cat. My Tuxedo "dogcat", who growls when someone's near my front door and plays fetch with a rolled up piece of paper, lol 😹👍🤣.
What an uplifting and all around healthy success story! Of course dog daddy rocked his mad skills, but the over all coherence of the family members and their clear intention and willingness to step it up and learn without ego is just beautiful! You could see the dogs just kind of fall into place naturally, like they knew right where they belonged. I’m thoroughly impressed. Warms my heart.
Love this story, I hope you can do a follow up sometime in the future to see how they are doing? They won my heart, beautiful 😍 🐕family. And Dog Daddy does it again , yeah!!!💯💞🙏🏽😊
Another great job done, little dogs big dogs should be able to live together play together and now this family are well on there way to that thanks to best dog trainer in the world, I would love to see zac get a handle of this job. 🎉
Another successful as always complete reformation of dogs and owners. The owners can now be at ease, which helps immensely since animals can sense our fears, doubts and insecurities 🤕empowering the owners is as important. Great job Dog daddy!!
