Absolutely not too slow, Matt. I'm hoping to take your brand design course and really admire the rigour. It's quite something to see you explain these movements and to be able to see the depth of your analysis (and, on a personal note, to help me connect some dots between my art history/visual culture theoretical background and how that's expressed when working in more commercial or more industry-affiliated movements related to visual culture rather than the gallery/museum/curatorial work I studied in university).

3:00 Non-political . . . Hmmmm. With so much effort expended into graphic PR, it most have been beyond even political posters of the 1930s in Germany and USSR. 17:00 This to me looks *so* 1968 - the summer of revolution and all that. Red & black combos were prominent in everything then - architecture, film posters (Thomas Crown Affair), album covers, home interior decor, leisure clothing, etc.

Fair point. Everything is political but I can appreciate what they were trying to say within the historical context.
