Beautifully said ❤. I really enjoyed this and l believe we need to have more of these candid conversations about the challenges of moving abroad and then reintegrating back home. Most of what we see online is as you have said glamorization …no body talks about the nuances of resetting …! Listening to this is like receiving a virtual hug …assuring that hey your not the only one going through this ❤ Thank you for sharing your story ❤️.
Hi Dambisa,i love your honesty, i love your positive energy, you're one of a few, most of the time people sell "glitter". I received a job offer in Surrey in England, i have to be gone before the end of May this year with my 3 boys aged 10,8,and 2. Last week Friday i wrote to them stating my reasons of not continuing with the whole thing, they gave me until Friday to change my mind, its Sunday today, but the holy spirit says no.by the way you i like your braids and you're beautiful honey.
Thank you for this video. I‘m sad that things didn't continue for you in Germany and I'm glad that you found a new job again and I hope things are going better for you and your family in South Africa. Wir Deutsche vermissen Dich trotzdem hier.
Thank you so much for this video. This is very insightful. Ive just been accepted for a job in Europe and Im so excited. Ive been doing some research on this exact topic so I dont walk into it with rose coloured glasses. Moving abroad is something Ive been wanting to do for a good while (Im 37), and so I worry that I always think about it from the positive side. I appreciate your video.
