Loved the video @ProfNCognito! Can't wait for the next video man! So this episode just reminded me that the Measurements are in Liters for the Fluids. So to Convert all the Capacity sections for all the Tankers that I've typed up in Previous Comments, we need to know how much Oil a Barrel can Hold. So According to some Sources by Bing, each Barrel holds 42 Gallons of Oil. The Conversion Table for Gallons to Liters and Vice Versa would be as Follows: • 1 Gallon = 3.785 Liters • 1 Liter = 0.264 Gallons So each of the Tankers would have a Capacity of.... • Liberty Ships (Tanker Configuration): 48,619.5 Barrels which means 2,042,019 Gallons or 7,729,041.915 Liters (and cost $2,380,544.91). • T2 Tankers/Kennebec-class, Kennebec-group Fleet Oilers: 130,000 Barrels which means 5,460,000 Gallons or 20,666,100 Liters (and cost $6,365,158.80). • T2-A Tankers/Kennebec-class, Mattaponi-group Fleet Oilers: 133,000 Barrels which means 5,586,000 Gallons or 21,143,010 Liters (and cost $6,512,047.08). • T2-SE-A1 Tankers/Suamico-class, Suamico-group Fleet Oilers: 140,000 Barrels which means 5,880,000 Gallons or 22,255,800 Liters (and cost $6,854,786.40). • T2-SE-A2 Tankers/Suamico-class, Escambia-group Fleet Oilers: Same as Suamico-group. • T2-SE-A3 Tankers/Suamico-class, Cohocton-group Fleet Oilers: Same as Suamico-group. • T3-S-A1 Tankers/Kennebec-class, Chiwawa-group Fleet Oilers: 133,800 Barrels which means 5,619,600 Gallons or 21,270,186 Liters (and cost $6,551,217.228). • T2-A-MCK Tankers: 117,400 Barrels which means 4,930,800 Gallons or 18,663,078 Liters (and cost $5,748,228.024). • Cimarron-class Fleet Oilers: 146,000 Barrels which means 6,132,000 Gallons or 23,209,620 Liters (and cost $7,148,562.96). • Ashtabula-class Fleet Oilers (Jumboized Cimarron's): 180,000 Barrels which means 7,560,000 Gallons or 28,614,600 Liters (and cost $8,813,296.80). I know all of this is a Lot of Fuel and "Stormbucks" (as I call the In-game currency of Stormworks) but it'll be A decent way of Getting plenty of Fuel especially with the Container Deliveries and the Iron, Steel and Aluminum Mining along with the occasional Gold Run. Therein lies the main thing, There aren't that many Containers to deliver and Gold is a Very Long Multi-step Process as well as the Costs are as of the Recording of this Episode. Still, the Liberty Ships are the Cheapest Option if you do decide to give something like this a try which kinda works out as the Liberty Ships in all of their Various Configurations totalled just over 2,700 Ships built from 1941-1945, since they took about 30 Days to Build. Sorry for The Complex Math equations man but I hope you liked the Ideas though, I spent about an hour typing this up!
One of the things i did my in my game for fuel deliveries was make a extendable piston with a fuel connector on the front of my heli, and left the fuel hose connector on the crane with a bit of slack, and the pump on, flew right up to the connector, extended the boom and refueled the tanks while still hovering, might be easier than navigating that sketchy landing
Tsunami base, it must have a nice panorama windows for the little... dogs... to look out. Perhaps an indoor little 'park' where you can pick up after them too, heheh. (c; I think the game got confused when the wave came over the VTOL with the hose attached, it almost acted as if the hose restricted you later. No idea of something was damaged, though, being submerged briefly -- you never did check if fuel consumption was higher on the return-trip compared to the outgoing journey, but who knows with Fogworks, eh? It is in the fog, man... O_o
