These 3 exercises make it easy and fun to teach your pup to love going into their crate and spending time inside. Crate training doesn’t need to be hard or upsetting. It’s easy to use your pup’s regular food to teach your pup to love their crate and once you’ve done that, everything about raising a puppy gets much, much easier. Crate training your puppy quickly and effectively is the best way to give your pup maximum freedom over the course of the rest of their life. Don’t make the mistake of giving your pup too much freedom too soon, and then being forced into crating your pup later in life, after they’ve already gotten used to having lots of freedom. Start crate training early with fun and exercises and crate training can be quick and easy.Tip 1: Toss food into your pup’s crate to lure them inside and toss more food into your pup’s crate to keep them inside.Tip 2: Use food to lure your pup back and forth between their crate and another bed. Teach your pup to enjoy going to and settling down in more than one place. This will also allow you to teach your pup to go specific places on cue.Tip 3: Lure your pup into their crate and then lure your pup into a Down position.
