It's not teally easy, but it's not hard too! I watched it 2 times and after 1 hour of practise I can do it prerfectly! Thats my first flourish and I am really exited. I can't stop doing it.
I do something serious with my card flourishes, and I want to tell everyone so incredibly bad. But I'm so scared other people will do it. Its not specifically easy, but its very obtainable. I'm almost 100% positive people will either start doing it, or worse, pretending they've been doing it when I know most likely no one else is or has

I see all the comments from beginners arguing that this isn't a beginner tutorial but with a little more work it's really not as hard as it looks and that's the best part it LOOKS super pro like you've been doing it for years and if the spectator saw it they would feel the same way
akeem anderson I'm a beginner honestly, granted I'll still say it years from now. I think the others are saying it's hard because they can't do it within 5 minutes, or even an hour. that's what I think at least.
I don't think when he says "beginner" he means very beginner. He talked about the sybil at the beginning, which is a move you don't master that easily, and apparently, a prerequisite for the Ben Wade
And a pro tip for the Ben wade 0: instead of changing the grip on the top packet midway through, you can start by splitting the top packet (in the z grip) with your index finger instead. I learned the Sybil that way, and it makes the rotation easier
wow after trying lots of florishes, finally something i can do, on the ben wade 2.0 modification, when the aerial cards fell down i made a mini fan of 4-7 cards using my left thumb that cover the deck on my left hand the i used the remaining cards on my right hand to square the deck, really nice variation i made up while practicing this move and thanks alot for the tutorial
I'm not a beginner I'm actually an experienced cardist so idk, but I think he did an ok job explaining it. If you know the sybil cut you should be fine
As a beginner (I literally only started learning 2 days ago), I recommend learning all the basic grips, Sybil cut and the werm before watching this. It makes it much easier to follow
Dani Barac lick your finger. it's better I've found to use those little moisture pads bankers, and secretaries use. it doesn't stain anything and doesn't damage cards as much. eventually you will be able to do it without using it, but until then it's a big help. you can pick them up at Wal-Mart for under 5 dollars, and one will last you a very very long time.

Okay for all of you beginning, like me. I've been into this like for 5 months and I'm able to accomplish at least through the half of the video. So it is a beginners tutorial, but you need to practice. I practice like 3 to 4 hours everyday. So don't give up. I've lost the count of times I've dropped the cards during this tutorial :D
Hey guys. Ive been doing cardistry for around 6 months. My problem is that when i hold deck of cards in mechanics grip the bottom card bends. Ive been trying to apply less or more pressure but is still bends.Any helpfull comments would be appreciated :)
