Can you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE come out with a Six Sister freezer meal cookbook? Like PRETTY PLEASE. I am in a situation where I am freezer cooking for my family and our grandparents. I love your large family / small family format along with slow cooker and IP cooking instructions. Our family goal is that grandma no longer has to make meals from scratch anymore so the freezer meals - are a good options so that she might only have to make a quick side dish. Between my sister in law and myself she should have a bit of variety. She is 95 and still living independently.
So I did these freezer meals and they have been awesome. Along with the other instant pot recipes you post. More awesome news, they have been saving me from having to grab fast food when I'm pressed for time. I have been fast food free for a few weeks now! Thank you ladies so much!!!
I am an old cook. I have been feeding a big family for a lot of decades (!) and baby, the ideas have run dry! The Instant Pot, and especially your recipes, have invigorated my whole cooking paradigm! This new multi-sister presentation is so fun, and just adds to what was already a great RU-vid channel. Thanks so much. I look forward to more videos from you, collaborative sisters!
totally agree...Don't want to waste my food and having something overcooked or watery sauce as final results...Coz with instant pot 20 or 25mn for chicken breast seems way too much time...the breasts will be totally exploded or smashed in the pot (even frozen ones)....A shame coz you all seems great girls and fun to watch but at the end we've got no final product looks so that is a "no subscribe button" for me neither a "like" I am terribly sorry...
Cooked the creamy Italian chicken from frozen. I cooked for 28 minutes. Frozen solid from a deep freezer. I had to cut the block in half because it froze too long. End up cutting the breasts in half doing so but no big deal. Came out great for me. Sauce was a little bit runny but it’s meant to be put over pasta and have a sauce for the pasta. Chicken didn’t explode or burn. Would definitely recommend it. I just used two chicken breasts that I got from the grocery store (not pre-frozen). We only have two people in the house so no need for four chicken breasts. But I did deep freeze them for later use. It worked fine for me. It was really good. Not a super strong taste, a light delicious taste. My picky eater of a boyfriend loved it, and he has the food palette of a 4 year old!
lange blanc you can see the final product on their Website. Here is the link to the creamy Italian chicken recipe www.sixsistersstuff.com/recipe/instant-pot-cream-cheese-chicken-pasta/
She says to cook them in IP for 20-25 min. I've always done mine around the 18 minute mark from frozen, and then I let it naturally release. However, I do feel like when I use frozen it definitely is drowning in liquid. Depending on if I want to use the "sauce" I just thicken it up with cornstarch mostly.
Those bags are loaded with food!!! Yes!!! Love!!! That you do the instant pot/crockpot instructions. & These recipes are new!!! Uh...life savers!!! You sisters!!! TFS...🙏
OMG! This creamy Italian chicken was a huge hit! I did need to improvise a little because I didn't have exact things. I used boneless, skinless breast tenderloins and since I didn't have the dry Italian seasonings, I reduced the chicken broth to 1 1/2c and used 1/2c zesty Italian salad dressing to make 2c. of liquid and added about 2 tsp of fresh minced garlic . When done, I didn't shred the chicken, I just cut it in chunks and served it over angle hair pasta with the garlic sauce mixture and some cheese rolls. Um mm so good! Thank you! Always like trying something new!
Don't even own a instant pot yet binge watching your videos since I found you a few days ago! Going to buy one today! Your videos are so helpful and easy! Like you said, not alot of weird extra ingredients needed. That's usually what stears me away! Great work ladies 😘
I moved from a big city to a small town 6 months ago. We used to do take out about 4 times per week...expensive! Since moving to the small town, take out options are really low and the quality of the food is very disappointing. My sister suggested the IP, I denied it for a while then got on the IP path. The Six Sisters taught me how to use it and I love it and them. I recently got a Cheftos pot in pot set up...game changer! Not everything is so saucy. Super easy to use. I saw two of your freezer meals videos and will give it a try. Thank you Six Sisters for all your help. Keep on teaching!
I recently was diagnosed with diabetes. I've been looking for new, better, and healthier cooking. Thanks so much for the videos you ladies make. I just put the chkn crack into my IP. Can't wait!!!
These sound delicious! I love my IP, and from a OAMM live, they shared these big red lid round Tupperware from the dollar store, and I freeze in those and jus pop it out into the IP frozen. Great for when I don’t have my husband helping hands.
The Creamy Italian Chicken as a freezer meal idt works very well. I made this and it was more like chicken soup then something I would call "creamy chicken" unless I really messed this simple recipe up.
Seeing you and your sister working together was really nice. The recipes looked and sounded great. Wow I never knew about the cookbooks and online recipes. GREAT STUFF! Keep it up.
Thank you for this! I came home from a long week at work and was wondering what to make to eat. I got your notification of a new upload (sub and click the bell folks) and was happy to see the Avo Chicken Salsa. I had those ingredients in my kitchen already and fired up my IP! Sooo good! Had them in corn tortillas with brown rice and lentils and fresh avos. sooo good! Thanks for the inspiration! (and making my cooking night so much easier!)
Thank you both so much. I've learned a lot by watching these videos. Please never stop. I use both pots and would find life hard without them. Tight Hugs from this Cajun Girl in South Louisiana.
I have been following you for quite a while and I love your dump and goes the one thing I found out is if you freeze it in the shape and size of your Instant pot and you can slide it on in there it makes life so fast and easy
I haven't made any yet but since I see your site I am going to do some. I hubby and I are seniors and we have good days and bad days so I would like to have some freezer meals made for the bad days it will be so much nicer to know I have meals ready. You ladies are awesome
Hi I just wanted to add that I bought ingredients and made a bunch of your freezer meals I haven't tried any yet but so looking forward to it. They all have such basic ingredients and all things my hubby and I like so I am sure we will love them !
At the moment our favorite freezer meal is what I got from you. The enchilada soup. That has been a family favorite. They love it. I love the new series.
OMG!! I have never seen anyone else make Creamy Italian Chicken!!! I got this recipe soooo long ago. I have only made it in the crockpot or in the oven. I wasn't sure how to do it in my IP. Thank you so much for sharing! Can't wait to make it in there! It is one of my family's favorites!
I have actually cooked meats ahead of time in my pressure cooker and used my Foodsaver to freeze them in vacuum-sealed recipe sized bags. My favorite item cooked in the pressure cooker was 5 lbs of frozen ground beef to fully cooked without thawing in a short amount of time. It turned out delicious and we had ground beef for a long time in our freezer. This video is making me think that making a freezer meal to put in my pressure cooker is just as smart or smarter than cooking up meats alone! I am definitely giving this a try.
LOVE THE SISTERS!!!! Nice to see Kendra joining you Kristan, both of you are beautiful. Would like to all of the sisters do a video together some time. Sooooo, all of these freezer recipes are just fantastic! What great ideas girls. Loved it. You make me think of my precious sister that lives so far away. Thanks, God Bless, and have a wonderful weekend. Looking forward to seeing more of the two of you. Claudia
I just started work full time. I find it sooo hard to get dinner on the table. My husband said he will help me make some IP freezer meals and we plan on using your recipes
OH thank you Jesus!! You guys rock... I am so burnt out cooking meals- and there never is any friggin leftovers so every nite I'm on, I bought both an instant pot and slow cooker and have just made bean soup and boiled eggs and jacked up a pot roast. Thank You sooo much I feel so free-d now! And you guys are so pretty too, I figured you now have the time to glam up now that you aren't sweatin hours in front of the stove/oven. Woo Hooo I win!!!
Thanks for your creativity because I don't have much myself. Enjoyed seeing 2 sisters together. That was a nice change up. I hope you do more of these team videos. Great job!
Hi here is A recipe that you can try out in the Insta pot you get a pound of pork cut it up into little bite-size pieces pineapple red potatoes and onions then add some Yoshida sauce or you can do so he sauce brown sugar and then cook it for 25min.it's really yummy usually I do it on in foil and put it on the barbecue were but it taste amazing in the Insta pot
I’m in failing health so these recipes I think will help me a lot because when I’m having a better day I can make a few things and have it in the freezer ready to go. Do you have a instant pot recipe for an old fashion tasting pot roast?
Those are nice simple recipes and I have just began using my Instant Pot which I have had for 2 years and I love how it cooks food. I love chicken dishes and have cooked some to put in the Rice-A-Roni dish, boiled eggs, and is about to cook some baby back ribs in it.
I just prepped shrimp fajitas, chicken rice casserole with veggies and stuffed egg roll stir fry, number 3 is coming in january and I really want to get ahead this time around
My work schedule changed and I am now working evenings, when dinner should be made. The men in my family are not huge on cooking, so I am excited to start preparing meals that I can easily toss in the crockpot, leaving them to finish up just the sides. I'll be able to eat home made food again!
You have taught me how to use my instant pot and it has been so awesome thank you SO MUCH! I made the creamy chicken recipe from this video for the first time. I added mushrooms it came out fabulous!
They all look delicious!! The Italian chicken I've made before in the SC. I don't care for cream of chicken by itself, so I use the blended cream of mushroom and chicken!! Perfect balance! I love it over rice!!! I am very grateful I can now make in my IP!!! Thank you!
A simple system for labeling is to number your bags and type specifics in google sheets. Then you can just write the number instead of writing all that info every time.
If you fill the sink with water and lower the bags into it before sealing completely, the air is squeezed out of the bag. Works like a charm and makes it stack easier in the freezer. 😄
I'm always late for class so I hope I can get an answer to the chicken Teriyaki. If I used a pork tenderloin, how long would I cook it frozen in the IP? All these years using the IP, I've never went from frozen so this is a new learning curve for me. I never froze meats or chicken but I lost my husband in March 2020 and found myself having to get a job after almost 40 years, so now I freeze because I can't go to the store as often.
Just got my Instant Pot on Friday. Made the Teriyaki Chicken tonight and it was awesome. Was a little worried about how it would taste so ate some left over stew while it was cooking. Tasted amazing!!! Used tenders instead of breast. Didnt add the onions but did add water chestnuts. However, I was worried about there not being enough liquid in it so added a 1/4 of water. 👎🏼 shredded the chicken cause it fell apart too much to cube up. Will be making rice tomorrow and adding this to my weekly meals. Enough for lunches all week.
