I should be possible. Normally, the first and second steps are folding the paper in half, then you fold the edge to the half giving a fourth. If instead of folding in half, you fold along about 3/5 and then fold to that 3/5 line giving about 3/10, then continue as normal. This will give you a taller box, but there are 2 notes; make sure that the new 'middle' you choose for the first sheet (in this example that would be 3/5) is consistent for all of the pieces, and additionally when you connect the pieces together at the end, the top will 'bow out' some. If you want to fix this it will require folding in the edges that sort of telescope together at the top in along their edges that all connect at the center. This might require some delicate eye-balling. Hopefully that is understandable. I did this for the bottom part of the box because by making the bottom 'taller' it takes paper away from the width and the two pieces fit together better.
