Please keep posting these video turorials for beginner and intermediate skaters by Estro! You're the best skate teacher on RU-vid.💖The last months' Moxi videos by guest hosts has me severely missing Estro's lessons and tutorials. Love you and the whole Moxi team, but I need my Estro driveway lessons 🥰.
@@estrojen8755 Neon Skates has shut down!! It would be great if you can find another vendor in Ontario, I know so many people who want to roller skate but can't find Moxi's anywhere locally!!
Not sure the third trick should be in the easy category, it’s close to crazy legs and is intermediate at least - don’t be disheartened beginners it is not an easy trick!
You’re ABSOLUTELY amazing on (and off) Skates!! I’ve had my Lolly’s for about 3 years and I missed out on the Skate LA at 3am years ago and it’s my biggest regret!!! Something just as rad may happen again! Estro Jen I love you! I appreciate you!! You are a Beautiful Soul and I hope to skate with you someday in the future (even amidst COVID) Thank You for sharing your magnificently honed skate skills!! 💜💜
I do really thank you for all your efforts!! I bought roller skates because I was scared and your tutorials empower me, step by step, easy to follow and precise🥰
I am getting my skates next week and the anticipation is killing me!! Until then I'm glad I have your videos to watch and help me prepare. You're such an inspiration!!
I just want to say YOU HAVE THE BEST ENERGY!!! I just got my first adult pair of skates yesterday, this is the first tutorial I'm watching and I'm so glad it's you. I'm only at 3:31 and I'm already having an amazing time. Sending a big non covid hug y'alls way
Sounds like it’s a great workout too! Thank you! You’re taking me way back! I am 43 and am waiting for my new pair of skates to arrive! Can’t wait to see if I still know my stuff 😂 when I was 4 my grandma bought me a pair of skates, I began lessons then just kept doing it! I even used to compete at my local skating rink for a few years, I was never anything great but I new my stuff! I hope I can still remember, You took me back with that spread eagle though! Thanks for the great video, very helpful! 🙏💪☀️💗
Thanks so much!!! When doing the spread eagle, where is your weight/how do you transfer your weight? Is it pretty even on the inside/outside of your foot or is it more to the inside OR outside? Love the videos! This is my first summer on skates so I’m super excited for more tutorials!!
It really depends, for an inside spread eagle like the one Estro showed at the start of the video, keep the weight mostly on the inside edge of your foot. For a centre spread eagle, keep it in the middle of your foot, and for an outside spread eagle, put your weight on the outside edge. Hope this helps!
Hi Estro! Brand spanking new to skating! I watched your Live Beginner skating and it had some super great tips. I tried to do the Spread Eagle but the furthers I can get my feet to go is still a "v" what do you recommend to gain flexibility in this way?
what wheels do you suggest for skating outside? Thank you so much for putting these videos out! You inspired me to start skating, I hope to be as good as you one day!! Thank you for everything you have done for the skating community!
I love my gravity wheels, they have glitter in them, but so smooth outside, I even can go down my steepish, long dirt driveway in them :) (they come in pink or aqua) *Ive had them for more than a year, and wearing minimal
any wheels that are 78a... check out the Wheels Explained videos on this channel! Thank you :) Just try one new thing every time you lace up- and you will be on a fast track to getting REAL GOOD SOON!
i feel like i don’t have control over my feet when i try to turn outwards i hope that made sense?? should my trucks be looser or tighter? i feel like they might still be a little tight
Hey, Estro! ok maybe it's the sound and the fact that your voice is miked but you feet aren't, but how is it that when you do that crossed, running man type move, your skates don't make any sound? I don't know if I'm just not light enough on my feet or what. 😂 Thanks!
What is the 3rd move called? It’s so fun I’m just having a hard time doing it without leaning on something and wanted to search for another video or some other tips :) thanks for all you do estro! Such a good instructor and inspiration for me xx
What kind of skates should we buy if we're just starting and want to dance? I can't find this info anywhere! Any recommendations? Do the wheels need to be bigger? Pro skates for indoor use? Thought appreciated 💕🌼
I’m trying this move but I find myself rolling back. you seem to be doing this in place. What am I missing! Can anyone help? Btw love the look and name! ❤️
I think my toe stops are to big to do a lot of different moves . I like the size of them for going backwards because I can stop on a dime who going backwards
Ohh I've been looking for this trick; spread eagle!!🤩finally I found the name AND a tutorial - by coincidence. Thanks for the video🥰 Edit: I tried it and realized I cannot spread my legs like this :( is there an exercise to get mor flexible?
For that trick, you need pretty flexible hips! There are lots of different stretches for hip opening, but figure four for your outer hips, seated straddle for your inner thighs, runners lunge for your hip flexors, and frog for external hip rotation would all be good places to start. :)
I'm doing everything you are saying, but I just go into the splits. My Skates just won't turn in an arc, they just want to go in a straight line. Can you help?
What’s the best Moxi skate for dancing? Are Lolly OK? Trying to figure out how much ankle support I need. I’m confused. I see jam skaters use low cut, but many say for dancing you need ankle support. Just for background, I did some ice skating (so I’m not a complete beginner, but I don’t know if I’m intermediate? I completed a beginners in-person ice skating class and kept skating / practising afterwards)
Lollys are great for dance skating ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-whPhR97pWK8.html but if you need more ankle support we recommend the Jacks
