Flamenco de Carnavallaal No basta con comprarse una guitarra española y una camiseta (y probar el peinado de Tomatito) para tocar, ¡y menos para enseñar música flamenca! que quieres compartir tu pasión ok, pero enseña ... ¡NO! Creo que en el prencipio du video pruebas un ritmo de "rumba" ... ¡es horrible! una verdadera lástima. Flamenco para baile de carnaval 🤡
Always admired how he gets right to the point, shows the patterns how to play and how to practice. Not much explanation, just how to play basic Spanish techniques to impress your girlfriend. Amazing.
Many videos on RU-vid but this is explained without babbling about unrelated talk, communicated with simplicity, clear understood speaking and execution of technique. Looking forward to checking out your other videos.
I will never play the guitar, but that was a BRILLIANT explanation .. I feel like I COULD actually learn how to play the guitar... honestly, well done you!
Honestly, i started guitar (classical nylone strings) around the time you made this comment. Today, i am playing the Juan Martin Book (first one) - Guitara Flamenca.... And all this techniques - i already use them and much more. Its actually very simple - Guitar is not hard to understand, the hard part is the constistansy and finger-memory. The rest is, specially in Flamenco is simple Harmony.
god bless you.i saw so many people wich teaching guitar.but you are some thing else.you are relax and you show simple ways to learning.i realy enjoy practicing with your method. MY BEST REGARD FROM NORTH IRAQ
Thumb and index technique is called "nota pedal". In Flamenco is usually associated with the lower E string wich is usually the key of the flamenco harmony. It is also used in many other styles, but used in a nylon-string guitar makes that characteristic sound. Good performance, by the way. Regards from Spain.
Just saw you and Kevin Johnson in concert last night. You guys were magic! The diversity of your music and skills were on another planet. Never saw anyone Ballance between keys, classical guitar and electric all in the same song! 🤯The vibes between you and Kevin during the Gypsy Jazz session was so much fun to watch. One of my all time favorite shows of all time!! And the venue (Midwest Theater) was pretty cool. Growing up playing classical, flamenco and bass, I was blown away. Excellent show, thanks man!
Wow! That was really great! I'm a blues guitarist that would to start learning Flameco and Spanish guitar. This lesson explained some really good techniques in 5 and a half minutes. Thank-ypu!
It’s been 2 years, looks like; have you made the switch yet from blues to flamenco? I went from 100% SRV to 100% Paco. Still love both, but landed permanently in flamenco. …Would love to know where you’re at on your journey so far.
This is awsome i first saw this video almost a year ago when i first started i had no idea what you're doing but i kept practicing the techniques and now it's like second nature thanks alot
Your technique and chord movement, makes for an exotic Spanish Andalucian Sound. Although you need a haircut to have that Old school Flamenco looks, Even though Paco DaLucia did have very long hair. Paco DaLucia was also an incredible World class Soccer Player in his spare. Guitar kept him away Pro Soccer. Paco formed his professional a soccer team. His player and his Team were all Flamenco Guitarist.
I have a baritone uke and I can play Spanish or classical songs on it, you just have 4 strings instead of 6. I love the deeper sound of a baritone, since I play a 7 string acoustic for flamenco most of the time And also a cavaquinho (which is basically the same thing as an uke) and you can play flamenco or irish Celtic jigs like a mandolin
I use my fingers, mostly just my index and thumb. I gave up trying to use a pick. One thing, I can’t deal with my nails being long. Sucks I can’t get more bite with bare finger tips. Spanish guitar sounds so good.
Got my first guitar ever a classical one just looking through YT looking at the levels to this shit I can’t even play one chord correctly and this right here supposed to be easy I’m excited for this journey😁
