Yup, after 4 hours they become active and they will already be there at the start of your hunt. Some spots are better than others though for sure.

Canada geese and ducks both aren't that great. Certainly not compared to magpies.

I bought the full snow goose bundle since my budget was 20$ and I got about 700 gms between a half hour and an hour.

@@shadowlord17762 That's not bad. Magpie pay slightly better now. Before they nerfed the snow geese the money from them was insane. I think I was making 2k an hour.

@@fs-ks7fm You should always have some you can do. Without buying any weapons you can make well over 100k gms.

Well, with the right equipment it is quite easy. These methods aren't really ideal for beginners for that reason.

I'm a little late to this one but I'll answer it for any who may have the same question. The average male magpie pays around 60gms while the average male canada pays about 30gms. Snow geese and magpie share the same CSS multiplier however, due to snow geese averaging further away from their maximum score the magpies pay a small amount higher. I'd estimate about 10-20% higher pay from magpies. It's possible some may say snows pay better and this would've been true upon release but they lowered their pay shortly afterwards as they decided it was a little too high.

This video is an older update, before they added the conversion on the harvest screen. Bows are generally more efficient and often more effective weapons. Reverse draw is a great first weapon for a beginner.

No, this video isn't targeted at new players. I suggest doing the game's missions for gms, I recommend the whitetail, roosevelt, dall sheep, snowshoe hare and pheasant packs. I also have a beginner series where I start the game fresh and show how I would go about establishing a new account.

As I said in the beginning. You should be doing missions. I have a good beginner series where I start fresh and show how to get started without spending any money.

The penalty only activates for hunts after the shot by the barrel. If the barrel was active for the hunt I shot by it then the barrel will continue having attraction the whole hunt. The penalty is just to prevent spawn mashing the barrel.

12 gauge pump action is usually my recommendation because it has a high shell capacity, free ammunition, fast rate of fire and is required for a number of missions. It is a very reliable shotgun.

If you have to ask you're likely too new to the game for it to make sense to do many of these for money. It's just a bear barrel, a jungle camo blind, 24 magpie decoys, a tent and a .17 HMR.

Competitions

If the animal harvested has no scoring attributes, a female deer for example lacking antlers. Antlers of course being how deer are scored. They only pay if they score. Try finding some male animals.

If you go to the store page you can buy other weapons and also find the ammo types provided to you. On the store page it will tell you what that ammo is permitted for.

As said in the beginning, this isn't exactly a beginner's money method.

The best packs for beginners are whitetail, roosevelt elk, pheasant, snowshoe hare and dall sheep as they require few or no weapon requirements and the ones that do are near the end of the pack.

Glad you enjoy the videos. I have duck video on my channel already if you haven't seen it. Unfortunately, duck hunting is very difficult to get into as a beginner. CSS is equal to gms, yes. Congrats on the successful hunts!

@@slicedsmh Unfortunately there's nothing anybody can do about that. It's a bug a that has recently arose and has yet to be fixed. Super annoying and should be very high priority. I'd say send a message to support but they can't do anything about either. That really sucks, 241 is my personal best as well.

My personal suggestion to new players is to start with a bow. The snakebite is my favorite, it's quiet and cheap. With your doe bleat you can call in all deer and take them quietly without spooking any other animals. Also, not sure what you mean by level 4 or 5? There are no levels in this game, you mean hunterscore? Definitely for money you're gonna wanna do the whitetail mission pack and roosevelt elk if you can. Whitehart island or Redfeather Falls are gonna be the maps to go to. Any questions I can answer.

If you're very new missions are your best bet. Whitetail and elk or dall sheep and snowshoe hare missions are all good easy packs.
