These sound great! I really love the new Princeton model. It's shaping up to be my favorite amp (and I'm a metal guy mostly!). Can't wait to give your presets a go!
I find the Princess has the best low end of any of the "clean" amps in HX. It is warm, full and fat but the mid-high end of the amp provides a near perfect full range of guitar tones. The low end and low-mids also seems to hit the ears first when driven to edge of break up, which I love. Best amp yet. Also agree with the Minotaur, it's in every one of my presets.

Cool that the Pocket Fuzz is based on the Bosstone Fuzz! I was told by Michael Bruce, that is what he and Glen Buxton used on the early Alice Cooper stuff ( School's Out, No More Mr. Nice Guy!)
I sold my Helix some time ago and bought a UA Ox. I don't regret it but I'm always surprised how good some people like you can make it sound. Not sure what I was doing wrong but it didn't work for me. Nice tones.
Kinda late on this video but i need someone to explain the chords progression at 8:05 It goes I iii IV vi but then he played a C#m (b6) and back to I. Who can tell me why the C#m (b6) works in this context ? It sounds absolutely lovely and i would love to understand why. Splendid tone btw :)
New to the HX Stomp and haven't downloaded any presets. What happens when you download a preset meant for the floor unit with all its footswitches and stuff, but load it onto the stomp? I think the floor unit has more snapshots and stuff. Do the extra ones just get left off? Anyway, sounds great. I really like the Princeton model. Some of the stuff you play reminds me of earlier We Were Promised Jetpacks.
Thanks! When you try to import a preset that has too many blocks, DSP, footswitches, etc than the HX Stomp can handle, you get an error and nothing will be loaded. Stomp presets will however load fine on the larger devices.
@@AlexPriceMusician Ah, thanks. So there's not even a way to open the file for editing if I don't have the right hardware? I'll have to be careful about buying presets, I guess.
It's a free expansion to one of my existing preset bundles. Otherwise, you're more than welcome to grab the settings manually from the video here. I'm not trying to hide them or anything
