2022 Update: The fans are still there as of the new decade! They have also installed new Harbor Breeze Springfields in the old rooms across the hallway that I intend to film in the near future.
As of 2018 these fans are still here and working just fine even though all the original louvered light fixtures have sadly been replaced.
Original description:
Here are 3 52" Emerson Traditional snugger ceiling fans in the upstairs of my church. These are huge childhood fans. There are 2 with painted rainbow blades and 1 with regular blades. The rooms these fans are in used to be one big room with 2 dividers that were always kept open. I remember going up after church and playing with the fans. Everything was good, until few years ago, they were going to completely redo the big room. I was sure that my Emersons were gone. I couldn't stop thinking about them. Then one day I went upstairs to see what they had done, and low and behold, my Emerson fans were still there! I was so glad they didn't trash them, all they did was paint 2 out of the three fans' blades colored. The one in the middle used to have a long string taped to the end of one of the blades, but they must have took that off when they painted the blades. In the video, I show the two rainbow-bladed fans on medium, but I show the original one on all 3 speeds. Also, the light fixtures in the room with the white one are the same ones that used to be in the new room with the rainbow-bladed fans. Notice how close the blades are to the fixtures!
I love these fans so much!
