❤ such a great video. so cool to see three brothers and their different styles in the same session. also, the video perspectives, both land and drone, were so comprehensive and complimentary. Mahina did an especially excellent job on that drone footage, providing perspectives that of all the videos of pipeline ive seen, ive never seem anything like it, and it gave such a great overall sense of how that wave was breaking, and a chance to see the broader perspective, as well as a perfect angle to see the wave shapes themselves, and the surfing of them :)

There was one particular two turn combo by John that was just stunning. It’s fun to watch these bros ability in and around the barrel, but those turns? Nobody else can do that. And I see that it’s this wave (Sunset) that makes him stand out at places like Main Break. School’s out.
