I watch most other vids at 1.25 or 1.5 so your normal speed is fine for me. 1 thing you should be telling people is to make a backup of any module before changing it just in case something goes wrong.
Great video, unfortunately I don’t have a Ford anymore as my RS was stolen but I still watch your vids and I understand you no problem even though I’m from Scotland lol
TORQUE & TECH yeah Scotland’s ok I’ve you like a lot of rain lol, yeah I’m fine the RS was stolen from a Ford dealer while it was in getting work done and because of the way they handled it I will never buy Ford again so it’s a BMW I’ve got now. Take care man.
Great vid! I also now found a use for my HP Stream 7 tablet PC that was just lying around! Thanks! BTW do be safe with Nav in Motion - big distraction while driving.
Funny, I just used FORScan to turn on "Nav in Motion" so I could navigate around my USB drive while driving. Ford sure does put a ton of things under lockdown, turning that feature on really opens all that up.
@@TechnationXyz Before turning that on: when I was driving, I couldn't browse a plugged in USB drive for music unless I was stopped. The button to kick off a "New Search" was grayed out / disabled just like Nav controls were
Is there a setting for the fog lights to turn on together with the main headlight? On my Focus I always need to turn it on with the button. It's a 2018 MK3.5
for me it dosent work it not loading up the stuff on forscan it saying loading sbl failed and service procedure has been interrupted any ideas or help for bambi mode
Upgraded my rear tail light bulbs to LED. Any way to use forscan to check for LED lights vs Incandescent lights on start up? Basically getting rid of the chime letting me know the rear lights are out when they’re not.
My 2016 Focus LZ Trend (Australia) has 4153 in the first block of 7D0-02-01. Changing it to 4753 or 5753 disables my entire navigation system lol. So I don't know how to enable Nav in Motion unfortunately :(
Hi have you got anything on the BMS system do you know if you can change the charge level to more than 80% in the UK Ford have set the level to stop emissions so the engine/alternator stop charging at 80%
It doesn’t stop charging at 80%, it charges to maintain an 80% state of charge and how much it charges really depends on your driving habits and electrical load placed on the system. If you want it to charge more (typically defaults to 14.4V) just pull the fuse for the BMS, it’s in the fuse box under the hood. However, this may affect the lifespan of your battery, especially if it’s not an AGM. As far as programming the BCM/PCM to maintain a higher SoC, it’s not possible with FORScan (so I’ve been told).
