Every runner wants graceful, powerful form. Here's how to get it!
Cues Cheat Sheet: bit.ly/2WgqJcG
Most runners would love to have better running form. They'd like to run gracefully, quickly, and powerfully. While most of your running technique comes from your training and genetics, we can improve your form!
Running form cues are not direct instructions, but simple ways of reframing movement to make better running form possible.

I bumped my avg cadence from 168 to 180 and my HR went through the roof even at the same pace. It's taken 6 weeks to get used to the change and bring HR back down but legs feel less beat up :-)

Finally! Someone who said cadence works in conjunction with speed. I've always thought even in a slow, easy run (and mine is generally 11:15-11:35 easy pace) that I should STILL be trying for that high cadence. It really made sense in my head that running slowly would keep me in the 166 cadence range. Trying too hard to increase cadence messes me up on slow runs. When I'm doing speed work it's not hard to see higher cadence.

I've been working on my cadence recently and found that thinking about fast arms (instead of feet) takes the attention away from my legs and stops me changing my stride (too much!). I find this especially helpful in keeping the effort low while on the hills.

This is a great video. I have some bad habits, but I do strike middle foot. I should not try to lengthen my stride. I ran an hour on a track today. Trying to improve speed by running more. I’m 75 btw

With cadence I've found that running on soft ground in minimalist shoes helps a lot.

The Cues page leads to a 404 Page Not Found. Pity, because I think the cues idea is a good one, and pretty much how I try to maintain form myself.

Neb’s not the best example to follow, intentionally heel striking is the road to disaster. He can get away w it but the avg overweight untrained runner can’t
