Kyle, I’m kind of disappointed with this new video format that you tested. I feel like it would’ve been better to do this longer format right after the cruise as a new video instead of as a rerun of previous videos that you already showed us. I’m not a big fan of reruns. However for new subscribers that haven’t seen this before, I’m sure they would love this.

Hey Kyle, just opened the video to help with the algorithm. Hopefully this is great for someone else but I'm not going to sit through a three hour video. I'm definitely more a fan of the cruise videos coming out daily around the 20-30 minute duration.

why would you post a repeat of past videos all linked together? No offense but isn't that a little disingenuous...

Not going to lie, I wasn’t really a fan of this format and prefer your usual videos. The usual length is perfect for a busy parent - 3 hours not so much. Can’t wait for tomorrow!

Kyle -- not one of your better efforts. Posting a repeat is not your best move to keep subscribers -- especially when it's a 3+ hour vlog. We'd rather watch you and Casey go bowling again. That was fun.

I think if this had been done as all original content the reception would have been a lot warmer. A new cruise/travel series in a long form format would probably be epic! Look forward to more in the future 🎉

Other creators are doing this also. Recycling old videos by combining them. I don’t get it. I understand more views. Dunno if that’s the goal?

I follow a few creators who post LONG format videos, like 2 hrs, sometimes almost 3, but the difference is they do it every once in a while, like weekly, maybe monthly, so they basically take what would have been like 3-5 videos and combine them (like this) to only post one time, versus 3-5. So I can TOTALLY see how this format would work for some creators, I just don't know if it would work for someone like you who posts DAILY. Maybe in the future if/when you stopped doing daily updates, this format could easily work, like a long one every 3 days, 5-7 days...whatever, versus one short one a day.

To be honest, did not watch the shorter episodic vlogs as I was less interested in the cruise ones but saw three hours and started watching. Now binged over an hour of it and loving every minute

Do people not realize you can start a video and stop it and come back to it ?! Like there is no difference to the video watching experience for 20 minutes videos vs a 3 hour format

Something I find about dining experiences… I don’t want to see every bit of food at the buffet… you’re not the only one who does that. I get the importance of knowing the variety of someone has food restrictions.. but if the video is 20-30 minutes I don’t want to watch food for 5 of it lol just saying 😂

Do people understand that your Vlogs are not just for daily consumption, they’re also for people doing research for their upcoming trip/cruise? Vlogs for future reference are good for content creators b/c they remain relevant to a wider audience for longer - which is exactly what a content creator should do - however - I would recommend keeping that in mind when filming. Ask yourself, am I helping a future cruiser w/ this or am I just filling space or creating entertainment? How can you keep the maximum longevity for your content?

We cruised on the Wish in December for a Merrytime Christmas cruise. It was amazing!! 3Day to Nassau and Castaway Cay.

Late to watching…but I like these mega vlogs. I can binge watch the trip. I can put on one video and see all the content. Perfect to watch in the background while I work. I especially love them if we have a trip coming up too.

Not a big fan of this since i watched the vlogs already. Like the shorter daily vlogs

I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate, but I've been to a tasting at a chocolate factory. American dark chocolate is INFERIOR to European or South American dark chocolate. Those are NOT bitter or waxy! The BEST chocolate I tasted was from Budapest, Hungary; a milk chocolate with candied lavender infused in it. It was to die for!!!

Honestly love the longer videos, would have truly enjoyed this if you had posted new content (say you hadn’t posted this exact content in shorter videos and just waited to post the long form). I’d love to see you post a long one like this say once a month or even once a quarter with fresh content. That being said, my 4 pups LOVE your voice and this video will be played multiple times for them when I need to run out for errands!

When I was researching cruise ships I always clicked on the longest vlogs to get a thorough look at the ship and its activities. Hope this works out well for you. How about including some bloopers next time for us daily viewers?

Update: I just finished up watching the vlog after taking a few days to finish. Sorry to see that Cassie got sea sick at the end but glad she got her shopping done. I may get sea sick being that I’ve never been on a cruise before but I hope to experience this someday. This was a great vlog. Thanks for sharing this vlog. It took a while to finish watching this 3 hour vlog but it was worth watching it all.
