There's Disney Kyle, there's Cruise Kyle, and then there is 2 Long Islands on an Empty Stomach Kyle and I am here for it!

I didn't want to go on a cruise by myself but after watching your excellent casual video I think I will try it !!

I just did my 7th solo cruise last week. 11 days on the NCL Prima and the only time I was alone was when I was in my cabin. I cannot imagine sharing my cabin with anyone and I always book a balcony!

NCL solo cruiser here. I loved it! I stayed in the solo suite with other solo cruisers. We had our own coffee social area with board games. And they arranged dinner for those in the suite to dine together if you chose to do so. I did specialty dining and dressed up for it and a few NCL excursions. The room was spacious, and the bed was super comfy. I'm doing another solo cruise later this year on NCL. I highly recommend them.

FYI …lower mid is less movement. Take the stairs but it’s really not that big of a deal to mention 20x🤷🏻‍♀️

I remember family vacation down South when little. The waitress brought us a few pats of butter. My Dad said, “We are from Wisconsin, bring us the whole stick!”😂

My last two solo cruises were on Allure - she’s my absolute favorite of all the ships!! And I love that it does not have the Abyss Slide blocking the views of the Boardwalk balconies to the Aquatheatre and wake view. FYI, you can cross the entire ship on Deck 8 thru Central Park if you want to bypass the main promenade traffic. 😁

Solo cruising is my favorite! Just allows me to do whatever, and not have anyone to watch after.

The Allure is getting a full refurb in April 2025, and we are on it out of Barcelona in the July.

Kyle you have been on enough cruises already. Upon boarding get food immediately as they close them for the drills and many have weird hours on embarkation day afternoon .

This makes me regret booking a trip. Ugh. Too much, too loud. I hope my ship is smaller. Thanks for sharing.

hey kyle! amazing video as always, im mid way watching your video and about your compaints of the lack of outlets, my parents and i are frequent cruisers and we always and i mean always, no matter what ship or cruiseline, we always make it a staple to bring a usb/plug hub, where you plug into one outlet and its a hub for up to 20 different usb outlets for phones and other plugs, another thing my dad likes to bring is a mini fan cause sometimes if the ac went out, he has it on hand. (my parents were on board the 2013 carnival triumph fiasco for their 25th anniversary and they learned a lot as to what and what not to bring)! anyways, great video and have a good one!

I cruised solo when I was 19 (Male) am now 74 and I shared a cabin with an American guy we sailed from Venice italy down the Adriatic and flew back to London

You can always book your shows before you board on oasis and icon class ships. Usually like 30 days before.

Fun fact! Most rooms on most ships have a hidden outlet by or behind the bed for those requiring medical devices for sleep(cpap or ….)

Sorrento's is so good. There were a couple of times on my last cruise that we just did pizza and drinks instead of the main dining room, and no regrets were had!

I was able to board last week in Miami on Independence of the Seas over an hour before my actual boarding time it was so quick & easy

Went on the allure last February. We loved it.

On Allure of the Sea there is an additional outlet under and behind the bed.

I got on the Allure last thanksgiving weekend and there were no issues, boarded with no waits! Had an amazing balcony room, but the casino did me wrong😢. It was a casino deal!! Overall I had a great time on a last minute cruise that only cost me the port tax/fees..

kyle, to get a comp’d cruise you kinda need to gamble at least 200 per night. we have been on 3 comp’d ones and that’s kinda the sweet spot. ask JJ cruises for more tips on that.

Done two solo cruises, a Royal Caribbean from Venice Italy and a P&O from Valletta Malta … loved both, P&O was better, but only coz it rained most of RCL cruise and we missed two ports due to night winds

I’ve solo cruised before on Virgin and NCL- ncl has the solo cabins which is nice but Virgin I felt was the better cruise line to do solo.
