Could use reflective material on three sides of the flame, reflecting back to the single side with solar cell. Just randomly thinking

You're supposed to stack them. Hot side to cold side, one on top of another Then you pick top or bottom for hot or cold. Run them in whatever parallel/series configuration you like. I'd suggest running water over the cold heat sink

Is there a heat loss with the surface area of that heat sink? Maybe use a water block on the hot side of your peltier with a circulating pump, too?

Super interesting! I wonder if you could harvest even a little bit of photovoltaic energy from the light the flame produces as well? Also randomly wondering if you could replace the flame with electric heating wires around the glass end, to loop the multiple energy producers back to electrically heating the end of glass tube? I realize that between all the various efficiency losses through multiple energy harvesting methods should = not being able to heat enough to continue…. But it’s interesting to think about anyways! Very neat idea!
