learned from a yoga teacher, the anulom vilom = balances the heat and cold in the body. Also clears the nostrils (nasika) , kapalbaati = moves the air pressure around the diaphragm and massages all the organs, esp the ones below the diaphragm, bhramri pranayam = massages the nerves around all the sensory organs residing on the head, that is the ears, the nose, the one around the mouth and the eyes........

@@ErikDouds thanks......Pranayam is really good, but we have to be careful not to over do it....... do only till you feel comfortable... our teacher use to keep reciting this, that comfort level is most important...... also try Surya namaskar, a very good whole body workout........helped me get rid of my lower back ache without any medication....

@@geetanjalikharbe8395 yes. one thing i love about yoga is that acknowledgement that everyone is on different levels, and that every level is welcomed and acceptable. ease into all new things is a lesson I've learned.

Yes. As an endurance athlete, I find the physical aspect to be the easy part of the battle. The inner determination and focus is everything, plus having a smile

It’s so calm and peaceful...I have high blood pressure yoga and breathing helps me to keep myself calm and control BP..😊😊

Erik Douds I naturally do these yoga’s for controlling BP..for BP the main medicine is Peace ☮️.. thank you for being a very good friend for me 😊

😂😂😂the bloopers and namaskara...you two are fun to watch... Welllll I absolutely loved the slow down... m on duty now and it's lunch break I almost went into total calm down mode ...whoa ...and the host sister is gorgeous ! Hi sis...you took a cool session...😊hi to Jaya aunty aunty and family...I would love to see this again, and any other yoga class too... Thanks Erik for this fun session and cool music again...😊

It definately worked on the crows!!🤪🙈 I think it should be tried in the early morning for more peaceful environment,can help you in concentration.

oh the assumption that the morning is more peaceful 🤣these crows are vendors are active all day. However, I love stepping out on the patio around 6:00 when it is cool in Bangalore and so quite. Definitely a beautiful part of the day.

Waiting for kathullu to appear after those chantings.😛 On serious note I wish you could visit Hampi(or try to if possible,keep covid-19 in mind while making decision) before leaving Karnataka.

Hampi is on my mind. It's close enough to bicycle to and would be amazing to see without as many tourists. However, COVID contact does have me extra concerned as a person with an autoimmune disease

I usually do pranayama in the morning to prevent what is known as the dawn phenomenon in diabetes (a natural rise in blood sugar). There is a video called 'Self-Care Routines for Diabetes During Travel (or lockdown) | 2 years on the road' where I talk about it a bit. Walking, breathing, biking are all definitely used to calm my nerves.
