What a wonderful simple recipe, can this be made using gluten free flour?
@TheCovenant2
@TheCovenant2 2 месяца назад
Gluten free flour is always hard to work with, since the gluten is the exact stuff that makes dough flexible and stretchy So just try and find out. It May work but the endproduct may not be as good

Thanks for recipe. My dough was not as soft and did not inflate completely as yours. What could I be doing wrong? Also how do you store bread, to not get hard?
@als363
@als363 9 месяцев назад
It has no yeast so fresh dough shouldnt Inflate. Trie to buy a Hard flour 00(double zero) (also called W300) and add a couple of spoons of Greek yogurth to it instead of oil. It has more protein, absorbs more water and becomes more elastic. Its suitable for bread. Let it rest for 10min once u mix ingredients in the bowl before working by hand. Make sure you work it pressing 1,2,3 turn 90 degree and repeat. Dust with flour. Let rest with a damp cloth on top for 40min. Work the balls. Dust again and let rest covered wirh a damp cloth for 10min. Work them and cook with Fire on high level. Doing in a pan is better less than 1min each side and repeat both sides again. It will cook and dey less. Let them cool. Stack them one by one to another plate to allow humidity to go for a second while being moved. This will make they dont stick to each other later. After a few min put them in a big plastic bag wirh seal and it should Last at least 3 days. You can also freeze them in the bag and will Last longer. Hope it helps.

With food colouring you could paint your flag on your bread. That way no one can steal it ever. And if they do, you could always eat your own soul.

Like there´s a total lack of instructions in the video, for example how many balls should one make from the dough?
@TheCovenant2
@TheCovenant2 2 месяца назад
You rly need instructions for that? Depends fully on how large u want or need the bread. U surely can estimate how much dough you will get following this recipe😂

Thank you for your comment and feedback on the recipe. While you're correct that water is technically an ingredient, we called the recipe "3-ingredients" because water is a common household item that most people already have on hand. I hope you still find the recipe useful and delicious regardless. Thanks again! ❤

Sorry, but I don't actually believe that the soft dough made here was made with SIX cups of flour and TWO cups of water - that's a hydration ratio of 33% which is a seriously hard dough. In the video it looks really soft. Turned off and won't be watching any more.

In case you didn't know Lavash is originated from Armenia... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavash

Thank you for bringing up the origin of lavash. As a food lover, I appreciate learning about different cultural traditions and histories. While this recipe is a representation of the Turkish version of lavash, I also respect the Armenian origins. Food is a wonderful way to celebrate our cultural differences and bring people together. Let's use this as an opportunity to appreciate and learn from each other's traditions rather than being dismissive or argumentative. Thank you for your comment.

in case you didnt know i would like to inform you: most of the items in what you know as armenian cuisine, is of turkish origin. in case you didnt know what armenians call ‘armenian dolma’ for example, is of turkish origin. yet that doesnt stop %99 of armenians to accuse turkish people of ‘stealing their food’. in case you didnt know, its always the armenians who do this on turkish content, despite this fact. in case you didnt know this is not a lavash but yufka (turkish flatbread) since lavash is cooked in tandoor ovens unlike yufka. in case you didnt know food can be part of other cultures other than where its originated. the response of the channel is the perfect example to describe the difference between two communities.
@Anhidema
@Anhidema Год назад
@@md-dp5bo then they should write yufka or whatever, not lavash , since lavash is cooked in tandoor ... You said perfectly... 😂 Not my mistake
