This ova reminds me of the Fairy Tail City Hero Manga where they are cops, but unlike this ova, they still have their magic. Its a fun read, and seeing whole arcs comprised in a single chapter

Jellal's thought projection was called "Siegrain", "Sieg" for short which is pronounced "Jeeku" in Japanese so it sounds like "Zeke". The subs made a mistake translating it like that. If you watched AOT, maybe you noticed that's how they pronounced Zeke's name as well.

since you liked this a lot, I recommend you to read Fairy Tail: City Hero, instead of academy it's a police office and our hero hunt down criminals, don't read it until you finish the sires tho cuz the parody the story as in this OVA.

Don't know if you know, but one piece has a series of commercials (think its name was hungry days) where arcs are shown in a high school setting (namis part time job at arlongs restaurant, vivi the transfer student...) Don't know if you honestly read a fanfic or you remembered parts of the commercial (if you even know them) Also the amount of references to past arcs in this one was insane, I didn't even noticed that the "kyaa" was a flashback to one of the earlier arcs where we first met Lyon

In case it confused you, Zeke was a mistake in the subs, it was supposed to be Sieg, from Siegrain, which is pronounced similarly to Zeke.

I could never understand which jellal was which in this. I know mystogan was the one in his normal outfit but I don’t know which one is supposed to be siegrain and which one is normal jellal
