So impressed she sings the whole song - it's fast and has all those long phrases that segue into each other. At least Steps can tackle a few lines each and get a breather. Anyway, great song and performance Jenny
And this didn’t even make the final. Of their national final. This is why you should watch every Eurovision-related event ever, there must be so many forgotten classics lost to the time vaults.
As an American eurofan I love this song and was watching it live on my computer in the early morning from Hawaii in 2011. P.S. I did get to watch Melodifestivalen live in person in 2017 as an exchange student.
There's also someone in another video who also thought, 10 years ago, that this song fit STEPS. Too bad I'm not their neighbor; I can't tell them how right they were.
1, 2,... 4, 5. There's no 3 in the lyrics. 'Go' in Japanese is 5. Too much thinking coz i really do love this song.. Discovered too late in 2021. Congrats Jenny! ♥
@@froggie2nd its not about the cover, its about what STEPS said about eurovision, they can cover what they like, but then, dont say bad things about something you cover
@Pedro Moreira Morales I totally get what you mean and what’s being said from them about the Song Contest is a bit odd. I’m sure they love the music but not the politics surrounding it...which, let’s be honest, is there...so in the end I love both versions...and will still be a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest, either with or without STEPS 😃 have a great day and be safe!
No need to put down this iconic bop, but yes, A Place To Stay was amazing and I think Sweden was too transfixed by her performance to pick up the phone and vote.
