I just got a new job and the first day I started working there. A select few of the women(a lot of women) within my workplace were a little on edge with me. As they'd just met me. 4 days into the job. Every woman in the building became very lax and very calm around me. I always make it a thing to joke around with them and make their days. They love it. They joke back. When they come around the corner. Or catches me on the elevator, the very first thing they do is they smile. Coworker: laughs at me cause I have to work on New Year’s Eve and teases me by saying “ have fun on New Years eve ” even tho she knows I work that day. This is the KEY to making it happen. It does just that, it shows you don't care and are confident. I like joking around with gals as it's just FUN. He says it all. I tried that "push pull" thing a few times with ladies I've known for a few dates. Once you are in that groove of the story, it's hard to get back in the groove of the story after that. Kinda looses it's spark.

Just the other day, I told a girl, a platonic friend, as she has a boyfriend, a funny joke. She hangs around a lot of single girls, so it might work well for me. The joke was about the dyslexic guy who robbed a bank. He yelled out "Air in the hands, mother stickers! This is a fuck up!!" She laughed, so maybe it will be good for me. Man, Tripp you are making this way too complicated. Just be yourself and say jokes you naturally would. You don't need jokes to instantly make a girl like you temporarily for a few minutes.
I'm actually an accountant and what I say when women ask me what I do for a living, I say I'm a stripper. Usually they giggle and then I just say I'm an accountant and ask what they do for a living. Works pretty well and if you can make a joke about their job, they just keep talking and you can build from there.
Remember the movie about a hit man? He would go on a date and when she would ask him what he did for a living he would say, "I kill people!", and they would both laugh. And he wouldn't be lying! So I actually started using this. Or, "If I tell you I'd have to kill you!"
