how we eat marmite: make toast put lots of butter wait for butter to melt put a thin layer of marmite put cheese and then we wait for the cheese to either melt or we put it in the oven so that the cheese melts :) seeing the marmite and cheese toasted sandwich is pretty awesome
Idk how others eat it, but my family eats it with rice porridge. Make rice porridge and once it's done add a little marmite in according to taste and enjoy. Would recommend a side dish to go with the porridge. Hope you try it 🥹
I'm British and I LOVE Marmite (most people I know hate it 😂). Marmite on crumpets- toast crumpets , add lots of butter and then a thin slice of Marmite. Marmite roast potatoes- add spoonful of Marmite to the oil for your potatoes for a nice savoury flavour. Basically you want to be using Marmite as a nice savoury salty addition to something quite fatty like oil or cheese. Once you crack the correct ratio that works for you it is magical! As for the Marmite drink you dissolve Marmite in very hot but not boiling- about a spoonful per mug. And maybe add a squeeze of tomato puree then stir. ❤
I love marmite and the amount you spread on was about what Id have but maybe Id put on a little more if more ended up on my knife. Since you have a whole jar of it now Id recommend stirring a teaspoon into anything beefy and cooked for a decent length of time. Think stews, chilli, ragu etc. You dont taste the marmite so much as it just makes it taste deeper and richer. I serve it to people who throw up at the thought of marmite all the time and they love it.
Can you please try blueberry bagel Get tuna add mustard and mayo mix the tuna then toast the blueberry bagel and add the tuna it’s very good:0 also try this one as well Cookie butter on a tortilla
I gotta clear something up: Marmite is British and Vegemite is Australian. Marmite is thinner and sweeter whereas Vegemite is saltier and thicker. As an Australian I prefer Vegemite which you should definitely try some time.
In Sarawak, we would have Porridge with Bovril. It is known as Peasent Dish or Poor People Food. My childhood breakfast, lunch and dinner was only those two combo however I love it and still do, I did not know that I was poor because I love my family and my relatives way too much to be concerning with what is not my responsibility.
There is a recipe I came up with when I was little:take a cracker add cream cheese, spread some marmite on it then put another cracker on top squeeze it then eat
well alright but would you prefer normal grilled cheese over marmite grilled cheese? what flavor does marmite add into the grilled cheese? these short form cooking content creators, a lot of them dont give enough details in their ratings theyre just like "thats the best thing i've ever made" for everything they make
I find it funny when there is no cook on the internet actually could make a good marmite meal on their first attempt. And on the second time, a high chance of getting a lower point or at least a generous average score
