3 Main whistles for retriever breeds 

The three main whistles we teach to the retriever breeds are:
* Recall whistle- 3 pips
* Stop/sit whistle- 1 longer blow
* Hunt whistle- alternating short and long blows
Recall whistle is used to get your dog to come back to you.
Sit/stop whistle can be used to handle your dog when it is out in the field, or leave your dog in a sit whist you are away from them.
Hunt whistle is used to get your dog to hunt an area to find an item.
