This video was inspired by "Thatsimracingbloke" I really like his videos Thanks to : Gamernotfound for giving me some ideas and acting FERRARI_REX for acting frankybunnie for acting #tips #midnightracingtokyo
So in conclusion: In every corner entry from outside go on the inside when ur doing the corner after u turned the corner go to the outside again dont use p brake too much this will slow you down try to use your normal brakes dont try to drift slows you down...also tune your cars to accelerate faster on the second and third gear so that you can recover ur speed from corners(for touge) try to cut off as much space as you can from the corners stay as close as you can. Dont use s15 supras or any drift cars if you want to get better cars try to use gtrs or subis or evos. Thats all
Why People say the supra is Hard to drive, its more easy than the skyline or other cars that People tell me that are easy to drive (i dont speak to much english)
@@swatgut123mods then try to let go off the gas when shifting to 3rd or try to not steer when shifting. Or play around with the offsets and the height.
I find a pretty decent tactic is to grind in any car till 8-10m yen, then proceed to buy the r32 and upgrade it for touge (as goliaths will be the main grinding place), then grind for a bit and purchase the r34 and to spec that for highway racing. That way, you have a great handling car for touge racing, and a decently fast car for highway. (btw this video was rlly help ful, i enjoyed watching it a lot)
This video is great tbh, but I just wanted to add one thing right to the exit line [yeah ik nobody asked :( ]: Know the course well. Know what corner comes next after you exit another one. After this, make up your own race line in your head. To give an example, There could be an S corner that leads to a straight in the exit. Ideally, you'd want to take the racing line by entering from the outside to the corner, but you'll take the second half of the corner from the inside, thus entering the straight in a lower speed. You can however, take the first corner from the inside then taking the second half using the race line by knowing what'll come after the corner. In the end of the day, you might shave off a couple of seconds of your lap. Hope this helps
Personally, I drive an AE86 simply because its fun (also bcuz i may have a bias) I don't really race, I just try and farm yen and xp points on Ichikawa, but these tips are still good for a kid like me! I play Gran Turismo, too, so I know a bit already, but again, these tips are very helpful
Hey! You are looking at a very old video. This video was uploaded back when the r33 was meta. Honestly I don’t know anymore if the skylines are any good anymore. It’s been awhile since I’ve played!
Subaru WRX Sti, I did a 3:01 with it once. Its the easiest car to drive (depending on your skill.) but yeah only good for maps like otsuki, Shirakawa, ichikawa region, etc.
I really agree with all these tips. Great video, like really good detail. If you did not understand racing line, like me, a few months ago, I decided to watch a yt channel called: That Sim Racing Bloke (TSRB) Video on deeper understanding of racing lines on the twisties (helped me to beat people in C1): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EuzVgIrFhlo.html With a videos in depth about racing lines and such. Really helped me out as a beginner. Although, really great video, because these are the main points that will allow you to beat half of your opponents in game. Good luck!
