Excellent educational show about Canadian wines that wine lovers from around the world should view. Great discussion of our wines! So much great information and suggestions to purchase. Good to see three professionals from here and from away commending Canadian wines. The tip about the 2020 vintage is really helpful! Can't wait to see the red wine video. quick question: why don't we see much grenache planted in Canada and I guess sangiovese?

I'd love to see more Canadian wine content on youtube. There is a serious lack of them on youtube both in short medium and long format. I've learned quite alot over the years from doing in-depth studies but you need to look in a bunch of places. There isn't really a good one stop shop resource to learn about Canadian wines. The vqa gives us all these sub-appelations but give us minimal resources to learn about them, and the stuff they put out is questionable.

We visited the Okanagan several years ago, it is the most beautiful wine touring places we’ve found. And if you want to piss off customs, bring back a lot of wine from many different producers. We had 2 case’s from 6 different producers, that meant a form for each winery. The custom guy didn’t want to do all the paperwork, and warned the not to bring back so much wine again.
