I greatly appreciate the shoutout! W vid btw! I have to say, the loadouts are all something I agree with. The Pike and Model are definitely the star of the show right now. The Pike launched completely OP and is better then every gun in the game, and the nerf hasn't changed that significantly at all. All it effectively did is make headshots less valuable and the range fall off matter a bit more when hitting shots/griefing from afar. And the model, well, the model is a victim. A victim of power creep. The model has received 0 changes and was always a very good weapon, even when it wasn't meta. Not nerfing the ranged damage fall off by the same % that they reduced EVERY SINGLE viable ranged weapon across L/M/H is just a big oversight on Embark's part since the range of the Model was meant to compete with those old ranged values. Some say a spread nerf is needed, and I would prefer it to stay a precision based weapon that can be effective at different ranges. A ranged drop off nerf, reducing the max damage hit from what I believe is 20m to a value of 12-15m would probably be best. As of right now, the weapon is definitely too oppressive and needs adjustments to bring it in with the rest of the pack. That all being said, I hope both of these weapons don't get the FCAR treatment and just get gutted to the point of not being viable against the more meta arsenal of weapons.

Out of curiosity, what's your opinion on possibly doing similar sets of videos but for different aspects of the game. Like medium loadouts for low and starting out ELO, or even a more fun concept "Appoh's crazy off-meta loadouts that shouldn't work but do" Where you get a 3 stack for WT an try to run a total fever dream team comp idea and see if it works. I.E. something like 2 riot shields and a spear heavy (the yolo sparta comp) or and all light comp that focus on visibility impairment and gateway chaining. Like all go stealth, vanish, gateways an sonar/smokes.I dunno, just a funny idea. But I love this vid an finally showing some respect for reshaper.

@@Appoh What would you say is your favorite off meta build for jus pure fun factor? Mine so far has been Grapple/bow/smoke/thermal/Sonar. But I play it as I fire my bow from inside the smoke till they know what I'm doin, then use the smoke as a distract
I'm currently running AK as main with Demat,, Jumpad, Def and Glitch/Gas mines, while having Model, Pike, Zip and Turret as backup, its been a ton of fun and this video only made me feel like I know what I'm doing.
i really want them to make the defib a specialization, kinda like the turret or healing beam. No matter how you balance it, everyone on your team having defib+healing beam, or defib+demat is gonna be broken. Then they can make the defib pretty strong, its an inherently strong gadget, so therefore it shouldn't be a gadget.
I’ve always thought defib would suit light better. Would make light more viable. One class having both a quick revive and a heal is already overkill, never mind running multiple of the same.
One of the most fun medium loadouts I’ve used has gotta be any AR with demat, flashes, data reshaper and defib (obviously) For light, using glitch and frags is really effective, alongside a gateway thats my go to loadout always
Akm or weapon of choice. Defib, goo grenade, and aps. With jump pad, glitch trap, and gas grenade in reserves depending on teammates, map, and enemy play style
While I think the triple defib stack is frustrating to fight I think its only made worse by the close range potential of both the pike and 1887. I personally feel that the medium should be a more supportive role than what the 1887 and pike allows the role to be, which is all-around menace. I feel the player attacking a medium should be rewarded for getting in close and ultimately incentivised to do so. But with the 1887 and pike this close range fight is incredibly frustrating, with high dps potential on their end and sudden ability to keep reviving.

Hey Appoh. Great vid, interesting solo queue build with a mine(but I think his teammates hate him for no defib loadout). I wanna ask - what fov are u using rn? And at the footages. I saw It was 87, but It still the same? On 87 I feel like my model's shots land better, but the game looks like little bit slow for me. Now Im trying "Balise's old" 95 fov. Interesting, but I want to find my own fov. What should I look for it?
Defibs really need to be switched to a specialization instead of a gadget. Alternatively they could make it so that a team shares the same cooldown for defibs. So if someone on your team uses a defib then all teammates' defibs also go on cooldown to avoid defib chaining

You'll never hear these light main creators say light is extremely strong and annoying to deal with. It's either heavy or medium being the meta problem
I still hate that they took away any scanning abilities from the medium. It was an over reaction from the recon senses days. I feel like the medium should have the proximity sensor or sonar grenade since information is a support thing.
While Demat can be very useful if used correctly, it requires great game sense and mechanics for it to shine Right now I'm in gold and I swear I run into a Demat medium in my team every single game that just does not know how to use it, basically resulting in them not having any specialization and putting the entire team at a disadvantage because of it
I'm not good with demat so I usually run heal and sometimes the turret! usually its heal, model, frag, defib, and zipline tho. then my reserve are pike, fcar, famas , and aps turret (sometimes I add dual blades cuz those annoying riot shield abuser are getting on my nerves)
7:44 Now you can't make red barrel with Data reshaper Cycle changed into explosive - smoke - goo - fire - gas - glitch - random, which makes you cannot pull out red barrel like a magic😭😭😭😭
@@Appoh Oh yeah that's right you can make a bunch of barrels in first place so RNG will helps.... But I'm still sad that I can't change gas barrel to smoke or goo barrel 😭😭It was great to use in defence........
Do you have tips for finding team mates? I'm 39k rn and the people in the official discord lfg are atrocious. In s1/s2 there was a competitive lfg but that seems to have died. I have genuinely had more success solo queueing with no comms than playing with a team with comms.
I run a decent amount of soloque demat and I 100% see the logic of not running defib. If you have a second medium on heal or two light teammates it can be good, but if you have a heavy teammate its better just to slowrez instead of waiting 10-15 years for their health to regen from half. I personally dont run zip and instead have goo nades. I keep it in reserves for if I have double heavy teammates but generally andgled jumppads are enough. The ability to goo off a doorway and force people to mantle over it blind into a mine is really strong, as is the ability to lift or launch cashout with jumppads
For me it depends on comp, but I solo q. So If we got another medium or two and we all are running jumppad, then yeah. I'll go goo. But if it's just me, then double movement is a must
ive been playing this game forever as a solo never with a team and it really sucks when you get thos teammates that dont even know the finals is. Whenever I try to get a team too it always you suck and im like wtf
This isn't a great guide for high Elo, because ranked mode in this game doesn't let you access your reserve loadout. I ALWAYS have glitch traps equipped because there MIGHT be a sword light in the lobby.
