any local job should be by hours. I dont undrestand how people work for drop and hook and miles..once there is traffic on your way you start losing money.
@@user-gn7hz6bp4yI worked hourly and hated it. You have to work a certain amount of hours every time for the same pay. I like getting paid per move and per mile. I can get a great pay check wnd worse less. While with hourly it's the same dreadful hours and pay daily. I quit my hourly job for w activity and milage based job locally. So much better for me
That’s why a lot of drivers are leaving J.B. Hunt. But they don’t suspend their no nothing at all so called fleet managers when there’re on line shopping.
I left JB Hunt after I knew they were installing driver facing cameras. Oddly enough, I left my starter company for them because they started doing the same thing
I currently work for JB Hunt DCS for a UNFI Account (DC to DC) .54 CPM Home weekly/semi-local is just the same as you the only difference is it's ALL drop & hook. Pros; Guaranteed Hometime, Consistent Pay. Cons; Management doesn't have semi truck experience so it's difficult to explain certain types of difficulties you may experience. Driver inward camera that's not too accurate. He's speaking the truth here in JB Hunt. They are very strict with employment here. Originally I came from Swift Transportation which wasn't like this but once you figure out this company it's pretty chill & the best part, is they have a wide range of accounts. Good Luck 🎉

Accepting driver facing cameras is a brain dead decision. You are helping them replace you with AI. Your driver patterns are being forced to be robotic so that robots can track the same habits and replicate.
