And then for him to say it wasn’t his brothers fault he was locked up!? I get it, the criminal justice system is corrupt but to blame it entirely, wtf?
Didn't he get sentenced with no evidence, and 3 witnesses? Two of which said they didn't see who the killer was, and one of them was a teenage girl the police "interviewed" for 15 hours? His brothers a piece of shit, the cops, judge, and jury are even bigger pieces of shit.
Seen a few on this channel and must say that I haven’t really been aware of the music. I’ve always been taught that if you don’t notice the music - it’s just right. Good job!
Thanks for this! I might be losing my hearing but I think he has said OLGA a different way each time he has said it and the CC couldn't sus that out for me either. Thanks!
12 people believing that drug dealers were framing the guy for the murder of his mother is disturbing. It worked once so he used the same excuse again luckily these jurors weren't idiots
I am not American so I'm not for either party but I must say that it's Republicans who have the reputation for being easy to dupe. Sorry. @@patriciamccormick9321
I live in Ventura,Ca. where the trial took place. Ma Duncan is still a notorious figure in our history. Poor Olga had the mother-in-law from Hell, literally! Thanks for bringing it to light again, lest we forget! 😊
Absolutely. " I love my brother it wasn't his fault." ?!? Um, it was his fault and his fault alone! He kept his mouth shut for 19 years while his twin suffered in prison, knowing every single day his brother was rotting in prison because of him!
@@goldenagenutright I was like huh. That’s crazy but it made me think why the hell would he’s say that. Maybe he’s committed other crimes he’s knows that he’s guilty of… like other murders.
I was thinking if the family cannot tell them apart. They must be blind! Perhaps in their younger years they looked more like each other. I know triplets and you can definitely tell them apart.
That second story wooooow. Thats some excellent police work and investigative work. On another note, dude got 75 years on killing animals but ppl get less for murders. Crazy. This guy has probably been involved in other la not known
They have his dna on record, as well as his m.o., and by his m.o. on the known cases he doesn't hid the bodies. I wouldn't think they would, but it is possible that police could quietly close a case w/o naming him.
@@no_peace Yet I'd bet a significant amount of the US prison population is innocent. Plea deals are too compelling, as evidenced by this very case. Dude didn't take it and lost a decade. If he'd have taken it he'd have been out in under half. Most people in that situation take the three years because the odds of getting found not guilty is never 100%.
@@ElyonDominusdepends on how you want to define "innocent". Most commonly the convicted innocents are already on the radar for *legitimate* reasons. That makes them much easier to convict and much harder to correct after an erroneous or false conviction. People just won't listen to a drug dealer or serial burglar like they would for someone with no criminal history. That's why DAs like bringing that stuff up. That's universal to prosecution and WHY we have the particular (and some would say peculiar) trial laws we have. It's also why it's so important to follow them autistically. Our problem is the judiciary, which *WE* have allowed to be taken over by partisan activists from both sides, whom we never even challenge, let alone remove from office. These judges are not interested in justice, but their own politics. They neither like or understand the rules of judicial neutrality and are essentially just rubber stamps in robes
@@nicholashodges201 Someone innocent of the crime they're in jail for. As soon as you said "both sides" however, I knew you were a joke and to take nothing you say seriously. Glad I skimmed.
I have heard that one before and thought the same thing. If he suspected his brother then why not tell his lawyer who should have brought it up at his trial?
Sure but the police aren’t blameless. Badgering a traumatized teenaged girl for 15 hours, essentially insisting she pick him while knowing he had a twin is diabolical. But he’s the one who went through it and if he doesn’t blame his twin, so be it. Whatever it takes for him to try to cope with what happened to him, the poor soul.
Some of my family folklore that's been passed down is that my grt grt paternal grandmother accidentally killed someone while commiting a felony (arson) when she was about 14 years old. She'd worn her brother's boots & left tracks in the woods to the crime scene & back home. Her brother took the wrap, was convicted & sentenced to death. On the way to state prison he grabbed a deputy's gun & shot himself. In those days he knew he'd be setting in "old sparky" real soon. That branch of the family still has a fearsome reputation.
Hi Tezzy I already mentioned it here in the comments, but the second case (the one you are referring to) became a made-for-tv movie in 1997 starring Judith Light and Ricky Schroder. I believe said movie is offered here on RU-vid for free. Just thought I’d let you know, in case you are interested in watching it. Take care.
My granny was a 16 year old who set her sights on a very handsome wealthy 35 year old man who was grieving the recent loss wife and child who died in childbirth. Less than a year later they married and she smugly bragged to the day she died that the poor man never stood a chance and every woman in the county was green with envy. 16 year old females are quite grown up.
There is a made-for-tv movie about the last case. It starred Judith Light and Ricky Schroder and aired in 1997. I knew I recognized the story from somewhere, so I googled it. I remember the movie very well and the fact that Elizabeth was executed. In case anyone is interested, the movie is called, “Too Close To Home”. I believe the entire movie is offered for free here on RU-vid.
Re-upload? I watched it through earlier. The first story, hell yeah his brother was why he was in prison. If he didn't confess because he got a long stretch to help his brother, , he absolutely could have confessed long before.
You are right; these cases are as twisted as they are brutal. The case of Ma Duncan proves that gender has nothing to do with being a badass. Thanks for another great episode!
Dude his twin is exactly why he was locked up. I get he is bitter especially because his lawyer never supported his innocence but let’s be real. Your brother watched you go to jail over his crime and left you there for 17 years
Change the speed to .75x for the OG Criminally Listed effect😊 What an intriguing and saddening set of stories. But one thing I’ve noticed about your newer videos is that you are now doing your best to present a sense of closure to the mysteries. Wherever possible you are trying to find stories where the criminals get the justice they deserved. I highly respect that, because it’s a great step in the best direction for true crime content, where it’s not just open ended mysteries with the families never getting any answers and ending up helpless in the end. Amazing work as always, and wishing you the best for the future.
I got so angry remembering the case about the Twins. I don’t think i could ever just let my twin go down for something i did, even if I hated my sibling, I couldn’t imagine living on the outside while they suffered in prison.
At the end of the gang murder, twin Kevin said "he loves his brother and doesn't blame him for being in prisoned". This sentence only makes sense if Kevin did do the killing and his brother who has life in prison took the rap. My best guess... He did that $hit
In the first case the man should've never been charged. There was no evidence to link him to the crime. I wonder if they ever brought up the fact that he had a twin during the trial. The twin who committed the crime was wrong for letting his brother take the fall.
Ummm, no, being locked up for 19 years, was squarely on the shoulders of your twin. He didn’t love you. You share the same DNA, so it wasn’t the justice system’s fault that your twin let you take the fall(you even acknowledged that you suspected him, yet you never said a word. That woman’s justice and your own freedom clearly didn’t mean anything to you or him). I’m sure you’re going to try your best to sue the system for everything it’s worth instead of holding your brother accountable for his vile taking of the life of an innocent woman, and pinning it on you… That makes you just as guilty as him because you never spoke up against him. Par for the course 🙄
Great choices to present. They were all very interesting. The second story, I couldn't believe the jury bought that. Love how it all panned out though. The first case, I suspect the confession was out of brotherly love, plus he didn't have much to lose by the time he made the confession. Boy, oh boy. That Elizabeth was something else!
Recently watch another true crime vid where the husband tried to impersonate his murdered wife via texts on her phone, but misspelled his wife's lover's name as "Antwan" and I thought that's a dead giveaway, who spells Antoine phonetically? Well... Now I know it's a thing. 😅
Nobody should have thought there wasn't reasonable doubt in that first case! And of course the first judge denied the right to a new trial for basically no good reason just because he found the guy guilty before. The American justice system is a joke.
"The police simply missed the gun in the 2nd search". Ok they werent searching the Playboy mansion. They were searching a 250 sq ft "cabin". There is no excuse to miss something the size of a handgun in something the size of a large shed.
The first guy, Kevin, is just an idiot. He coulda come up with that in the beginning but somehow forgot he had an identical twin? Plus, not taking a 3 year plea on a murder, that you 100% commites, while you're 27 and JUST had a kid, is absolutely mind boggling. (But idk too many people whod claim their type as intelligent). He deserves life for that.
Poor Olga. She didn't know what she was getting into. So disturbing the relationship Frack had with his mother. He says it was not incestuous but that's how it looks from the outside.
