Though I do agree with @lauren that he has to pay at least half of all bills and he pays for his own food and toilet paper. That was Rudy. He was a single gay dude who inherited it. He had a cat over there & just used it for storage. He's dead now but he told a person who asked him about the rumor and was reported to have said ~"just say your prayers at night" and it'll be ok. Last & only family who tried to live there shortly after the murder/suicide left rather hurriedly. They left all their shit and a Christmas tree standing. Perelsons were Jewish so they know it was after. And, there was a can of ~Spaghetti Os from the 60s.

I watched a really good spirit box session there . The husband and wife were still kind of fighting because the step mother was saying his daughters did it as much as their uncle because they conspired together to kill them . Even though the daughter’s biological uncle did it and they paid him . The dad of course was saying it was his own ex brother in law . But they all 3 conspired to kill them . And it makes perfect sense ! The uncle / BIL. Even though he was staying at the house himself Stood in the street with gawkers watching , then stood in the backyard eating pears out of the tree . All of this time I finally feel like I know what happened .

Lisa's death was heartbreaking. She would be 37. May she rest in peace.

Oddly enough, after the Lutz's departure from the home no other residents of it have been bothered by the "haunting", but more so by the tourists who viewed the umpteen movies based on it.

I know because I've studied the case for years. Off the top of my head, the maid's name was Bridget Sullivan. The girls called her "Maggie" which was the previous maid's name. The dress she burned the next day, was not worn at all on the day of the murders. It was stained with paint (corroborated by the dressmaker and Emma) The police had already searched through Lizzie's wardrobe and taken the dress Lizzie was wearing that day. There's a lot more, and details matter. Something that happened more than a 130 years ago gets altered by gossip and rumor. Lizzie had the town's support throughout. She was shunned after the trial. She did not get involved with painters and/or things such as opera, orchestra, etc... she got involved with stage actors. (that kind of "art" was not seen well then) She was very close to the actress Nance O'Neill, and hosted many social gatherings for her. This is most likely why Emma moved away. I don't know why Fall River considered this another unforgivable sin, she had no friends among them, so she found friends that would accept her. Lizzie loved animals, and she left a good amount to the Humane Society on her death. I don't believe Lizzie did it, but I think she knew who did, Bridget probably did too. It's the timeline that I can't get around. There is just not enough time for her to appear well groomed with no blood on her at all. Even people who claim to believe she was nude doesn't work, because she would have had blood in her hair, and a lot of it.

My last house was haunted but not a murder house. I never believed in this stuff till I moved in there in 2017. I didn't move because of this, it really was nothing scary, just things being moved around, whispers, etc. I never saw anything, thankfully

In 2006, my husband and I spent 3 nights at Lizzie Borden's house. It was so exciting and scary. The historical society in town has so many things from the murder and Lizzie's time in jail before the trial. It was so interesting. I would go back in a heartbeat. We slept in the guest room where Abby was killed.

That’s all speculation and rumor tho…..zero fact 🙄😂 why are you acting like it’s known fact? I doubt he was still assaulting them in their 30s and 40s….and you do know if a woman didn’t find a husband by 25 they were a spinster and it was super hard to find a husband? Knowing history helps a ton. Not sure why cuz someone remains single in that time it MUST MEAN they were being sexually assaulted by their father and I’m assuming since childhood.

And take stepmother wasnt in the picture until they way much older, they weren’t children when he married her. Maybe learn some history before having an opinion

They do return sometimes. I've been through it. The most haunted apt I lived in was a loved one needing to reconnect with her husband. They never were able to say goodbye when she died at a nearby hospital. Before I figured out who it was, I had to leave the apt more than once it was so bad. After I helped her, everything chilled out completely. Keep an open mind. Murders & suicides leave more stuck here for whatever reason.
