I just installed a case saver from Uppracing.. fits a 15 tooth sprocket part#1031. Fits like a glove. Thanks for the heads up! I'm glad I found your video
Im at the end of my big bore upgrade on my raptor 700r. She fires right up and purrs like a mountain lion. I also put on dual full exhaust, FCI and PCV
hey can i ask u a ? i just installed a duel exhaust with pcv and my raptor 700 wont stay on ive messed with the idle but it doesnt fix the problem did u have any troubles like this? and whats a fci? is that a upgraded air filter?
For everyone in the future who wants a temperature sensor there are cheap kits on ebay and amazon that you can buy and install that are nicer looking and cheaper
Oem case saver is thin if lookin at it one way, the way intended for use it’s a half inch + which is more than enough to save the case. Has anyone actually seen ( in person ) the chain snap and bind up?
You got me worried. I have a thermostat that is sticking and that has caused the temp light to come on twice for only about 5 minutes each before i got on some higher speed stuff to cool off the engine and then park it. Hoping i didn’t damage the engine. Got a thermostat on the way.
You missed the most important upgrade. Hugh quality steering shock!!!! Ive been riding 700R for years and let me tell you a good steering shock feels like power steering over the bumps. by far the best upgrade period. now wise up!!!
No way, cuervo is right man, ur engine actually lasting is more important then bump steer. I just bought a brand new 22 700r and these 3 mods will be the 1st things I do!!! I don't run any of my bikes unless I can check the temp.
What's the purpose of the exhaust block off plate? Wouldn't more air to burn off the extra gas be a good thing? What problems does it cause down the road, if you don't block it off?
the AIS is a reed valve, the valve can get weak and loose, or build up with carbon and stay open. This will cause a lean condition and engine failure! .
@Richard - I have the same question! I'd assume more air in puts more back pressure on the engine and limits potential flow? I'd think there is a balance point.. Love to see a dyno b4 and after
normally it's needed if you remove the cat(removes some popping) or want to tune the bike(or run an auto-tuner), as you can't get a good reading with extra air getting dumped in.
I have the 2014 model. Can that be placed on the bottom line just forward of the Water pump? If it would work, it would be easier to see down near the foot.
there are a few different options on the marked. we have actually switched over to one which incorporates 3 mounting bolts of the stator as well which give that option for guys who have already broken their case mount. Its built by a customer and is unbranded.
@@JetSkiBuyFixPlaySellChannel Cool so what does bypassing the EPA crap do for the rider? More HP? Better throttle response? Just to say "Fuck You" to the EPA? And what does that hose go to and is it needed? I don't want a $20 part to ruin my $9,000 machine I'm still paying for...
When would you ever look at a temp gauge mounted down there?! Again, by the time you do your stock light would be already be on! That's just a waste of time and money... Save it and buy a Trail Tech with temp gauge/gps/tach/mph/etc.
Hi Mrcuervoracing I wanted to ask with a concern I have I recently bought the ais plate from you and I wanted to ask if I can put this on during the engine break in period hope you get this message
@@AfterHoursWithMrC yeah I asked this question about a year ago and still don’t know lol. I’m thinking it probably don’t do anything or they would have told me so they could sale me one.
Do you know of a way to get rid of the top speed limiter in 5th on the 2015+ raptors. I’ve heard unplugging the sensor from the clutch doesn’t work anymore.
I hit 79.84mph on my stock 2019 Raptor 700R this weekend. I think it had a tiny bit more left in it too. Do they have a limiter? (not that I really want or need to go any faster)
@@JarofMayonaise I know the 07 700 once in 5th the ecu changed timing curves so it wouldn’t pull but so many RPM in 5th. I put on a dynatek ignition and it did away with that problem.
It's looking like my 08 raptor was better. Never had issue with overheating and I ride trails in the desert at low speeds 90+ heat sometimes 110 and never seen the temp light ON. I do notice alot of heat coming out due to fan being ON almost always. I do wonder at those times what the temp is so I might just get one of those.
Good idea. I need to put some on the shelf. Most guys here put a longer swingarm on and the chain makes contact less often with the roller due yo a changed angle and ride height. But yeah idk what the hell they were thinking
808sand Blvke yeah! Changed out for a TM roller with the groove and it got rid of 95% of the noise. If I tightened my chain just a bit it would be gone all together
Im not a fan of the duals for the 2015 and up head. Ive dyno tested and installed the Barker Duals for the 15+ and i see a few faults, the mid pipe is Hard Mounted, this imo will lead to future failures, excess weight, and performance is LESS then the Monster Single once engine modifications are made!!! We've made nearly 100 Hp thru the Monster Shorty and tested the other contenders on the market on the same engine and it was a HUGE difference in power. The more power over stock the bigger the gap between the Monster and others. The biggest benefit of the Barker Duals is the sound level is QUIET!!
Hello from FLORIDA thanks for your videos they’re very helpful I’m got a used raptor 700 and I want to do some maintenance like engine oil change I see on the manual the recommendation according to my rather I should use 10w40 or 20w40 but which brand should you use for 100% trail/mud ridding?
Hey what's up man great video I just picked up a 2018 raptor 700 R yesterday and I just wanted to check with you regarding that block off plate. Will that void the warranty because I have a two year warranty on the engine and transmission from the dealership that I paid for so I was just curious. Thanks again for the information sir
the dealer can choose to void warranty for any modifications or reason. You can return the bike to stock at any time, just keep all the factory parts handy.
OK awesome I appreciate your advice, i'll be doing these mods pretty soon once the engine is all broke in. I got the same color as the one in the video it is a great looking bike
It's the best looking because you can't afford a special addition they are way better looking but just to me but if you ride a lot of dirt the graphite will be for you
this is a customers bike. there isn't much difference between the SE and the base besides Color and shocks. the shocks are cheap to change, even buying the OEM SE shocks are super cheap. If you think you are somehow Better or Smarter because you paid more to have the "SE" color then you are mistaken. one can easily change all the components and add the bumper and heel guards aftermarket or gytr and upgrade the shocks for the same cost and then not be stuck with a Burgandy red frame.
I've owned several raptor 660 and all were junk. If they have not fixed their design for the 700 then there is no way in hell i will own one of these pieces of shit.
