I am working very hard with a very small team to make sure the Mad Jack boss fight plays beautifully. I hope that you will enjoy it when it is finally done.
Hey man! DK64 was my childhood! I played it so much and mad Jack was my most memorable boss! He was so scary when I was a kid and I can’t wait to fight him in VR just to see how massive he truly was compared to the kongs! Im super excited to kick his butt again. With the perfect avatar too, N64 Link XD THE PERFECT CROSS OVER
@@andrewmartinez8076 Fastest growing video on the channel so far, and that's 61 videos in. :P Hey, I'm just happy to bring light to these awesome worlds for people to check out in VRChat. That's enough. 💖
Hahaha even as I'm pointing things out for myself I was like "hey I remember this! What was this again...?" Like on the DK64 map, the floating island with the house on it... I don't remember that stage or what it is like... AT ALL.
Cannot go back to your childhood if maturity has matured. As people will seek perfect graphics in the current age. I hate my childhood and hate some races or regions of people. But there are morons and don't relate. When it comes to N64 it has lived in the 90s to 2001 and that ended. People want excellent graphics and a new age in gaming that shows the right age for itself or its dead. People are still seeking great games.
I don't fully agree! Everyone's got a different perspective and path. For me personally, nostalgia will always sell. These older games still hold up, even if I'm clouded a bit by nostalgia what's most important is I'm enjoying myself. I'm always craving games with retro pixel art or low-poly graphics. It's why I mostly play indie games. Sure there are gonna be people only wanting the most realistic graphics, but I think that's fine too! What's most important is that you focus on what makes YOU happy and make the best of it. 😊
That's just the problem. People will ignore good games and sell out no matter what as long as the graphics are good. Gamers like those are tools though just mindlessly feeding into capitalism. A good game goes beyond graphics and you'll find people are more likely to play a game they find fun and interesting than one that just looks good. That's actually a big problem today, developers focus too much on how good a game looks rather than what actually makes the game good and fun. Also Dark souls and its series are nods to the old style of games like these.
Well there are still plenty of developers making games that put gameplay first. If all you look at are the triple-A games from big developers yeah you're gonna see a lot of the same! Doesn't matter much if people buy into them. Focus on enjoying what you enjoy, and let those people who like "better" graphics enjoy those games as well. This is why I love Indie games so much, they cater to exactly what I'm looking for and they've been on the rise for the past decade. 😊
Unlikely, hard to say for sure... I wonder who would be the one in trouble - the world creator, or VRChat as a platform. There are so many video game / Nintendo worlds in VRChat. Same with other licensed work. I'm really not sure how that works, legally speaking.
This thing just popped up on my youtube, I love DK64 and BT, I had them both on my 64 back in the day and they have a place in my heart, and when I got older I got the chance to play BK (sadly emulated). It fills me with nostalgia, I love Rareware's work at that time, and especially Grant Kirkhope. You have earned a subscriber
Oh absolutely! The magic of the old Rare games will never be forgotten. It's awesome to see people keeping the vibes alive on other platforms. Always a treat!
You absolutely should! Creators are continuing to make incredible worlds and avatars every day. If you've been out of the VRChat loop for a while then you've got PLENTY of incredible worlds to check out!
