I totally get that! Unfortunately just a touch too beefy for Quest. There are lots of other awesome games to play on VRChat on Quest standalone though! And hey, maybe motivation to connect to PC down the road? ;)
There's a third world by the same creator that I didn't cover in this video because it's not out yet, I'm not sure what finale world you're referring to, though.
Backrooms vrc.3 grand finale. was published as a small world compared to the other backrooms in the series, never updated, and so far as i know, nothing to explore, just go outside the spawn area and a wasteland to look around in a bit. Just wondering if thats it or am i somehow missing more to the world? not many places i can ask about it
@@zerowitches I don't see that one when I try to look it up. The one I know is "Backrooms VRC.3" which is the third one, it does say Grand Finale in the thumbnail, but when I last went there it was a full exploration style map. I'll have to go take a look rq.
Hey @zerowitches I just hopped on and explored and I think I see your confusion. That snowy wasteland actually has a teleport if you continue forward. Go towards the buildings, go between them, and out the other side. Just keep walking in that direction and the map will continue.
I was a fan of Altspace. I have never been in VRChat, but it seems to be predominately populated with perverts, weirdos, and fruitcakes. I'm an older guy and just don't see myself hanging out with a bunch of furries and men in little anime girl avatars. No offense, it's just not my thing.
I have a hard time making friends. So even if i find a world i enjoy, I have a hard time finding people im comfortable talking to!! It feels like im in middle school again drifting around..
I feel this! You can't really go to a world with the intent to find friends, it's moreso you need to go to groups and events. Find people who share your values and interests. If you're just trying to meet people in general, I find game worlds to be the best for that. You can get into character, roleplay, etc
I loved playing on desktop even more then playing in a headset sometimes, vrc is a really cool platform, but just like internet it has a lot of amazing stuff and also has a lot of stupid in a bad sense shit, but its worth it, its like a free third place to hang out with friends and roleplay and meet new people!
Yeah! There will always be bad no matter where you go but I find it more valuable to focus on the good and embrace that rather than focus on the bad. Like it's good to be aware of but honestly VRChat has brought me so many positive memories and experiences.
Anybody else see a glitchy bar code sort of thing in the tea forest world on the top right of the screen? I noticed it would pop up when you looked in certain places and thought maybe it was a secret code or something.
That might be just god rays shining thru the leaves. I haven't found anything strange or interactable in that world, neither underground nor in the outer perimeter, just a beautiful shiny forest
Love ya avatar is this your main avatar did you make it yourself where did you find it if you did not or where did you get it to get made! Love your videos a new sub today 😊
Hey! So this is actually a public avatar. You can find it in one of the Hoppou Avatar worlds. I wanna say it's like Hoppou Empire or something like that.
I'm genuinely impressed that you were able to get to the end on your first playthrough. I went there several times and I never even knew there was a level above that first room.
Dude, I need to know, what song plays during The Meridian of the Cerulean Tide? it's such a beautiful song and I wanted to know what it was. Other than that really good video!
Unfortunately, the world creator isn't comfortable sharing these songs publicly and only sent them to me to be used for these videos. I agree though, the songs are super pretty.
You know it would be awesome if creators join from time to time to make these hunts, and people join to a dedicated group so we can be aware when these events take place, and therefore, we can worl hopping getting to know cool new places
I mean, my Discord community I try my best to keep people updated with cool stuff going on in VRChat if I can! I'm not ALWAYS on top of it and I can't ALWAYS host events for it, but it's something I wouldn't mind doing from time to time. That being said, this happens with PJKT every year so be sure to follow their socials to be alerted next time it happens :3
Omg! Great! I come from second life and hunts are one of the activities that Don't involve shopping or taking pictures or dancing in clubs! Refreshing! but sadly it is this the last day i don't think i would be making it... you need time for this..
Yeah, I had to post the video after the event was already over so nobody could cheat the codewords. Definitely join their community for a heads up on the next time it happens! :)
Going over 1200 SP lets gooo!! Also the save code you just need hit the ''copy'' button on the left bottom corner and you can paste, many people don't know that and on the painel is even saying to do that haha
Lmao! Yeah someone else pointed that out to me, very silly and easy to make mistake but you learn something new every day! Congrats on 1200 SP, how many hours do you have in Terrors? I'm sitting at around 10 hours with 60SP currently. :)
Unlikely, hard to say for sure... I wonder who would be the one in trouble - the world creator, or VRChat as a platform. There are so many video game / Nintendo worlds in VRChat. Same with other licensed work. I'm really not sure how that works, legally speaking.
Great vid, was nice to see these old worlds revisted. ^_^ These 4 climbing trials (+ the bonus mgs3 ladder I made which is hidden beneath the climbing jam world) were the first ever climbing worlds released in vrchat before Cyan made the prefab available to other world creators alongside the bigger jam event. Both the Rapunzel and Climbing Depths world were made in a single weekend, legend's sky temple world and my colossus world were also aiming for the same release but we chose to spend the next 5 days on it and released it on the following weekend so those 2 worlds were a week development instead. (My mgs3 ladder world was a 2 day process only though, right before the prefab was released to other creators). So yeah, they are definitely dated now but we're happy with that we made in a short time and the goal was always to show other creators what kinds of worlds you could make using Cyan's climbing system (which is why we chose to focus on 4 different experiences individually in gameplay and theme).
Given the fact that VRChat can't let you log in in the same spot you log off.. i think it is a little difficult for someone to be like 10 hours or "climbing"... At least it would be great if the game let you save your checkpoints.... For what i know, no game inside VRChat let you save for another day.
I tried Climbing Carnival not knowing what it was and made it to the first base camp and saw how far away I was. It's such a cool map concept to just keep adding to it.
That's awesome progress though. Yeah, it's intense just how tall it is. Not to mention I showed off everything up to Saturn there, but there's still way more up to Pluto after that. Crazy huge map.
Nope! I added that one. In the original map, there is no music, only an underwater bubbly sound (though even the one you hear in the background is one that I added haha)
