LOVE YOU RACK, on February 15 of this year you signed the back of my jersey and I’ll never forget it. You’re such a large influence towards so many and we are grateful. Thanks for everything
As someone who's arm is injured and I'm working on healing it, I've put a baseball in the pocket and folded the glove how I want it, then have been using clamps to hold down points I need worked on because I can't play catch right now. Working pretty good tbh
I use to sprits the glove with water then stick a softball in the pocket and put a big rubber band around it. Then stick it under my bed for a day or 2 until the leather dried. Worked pretty well from what i remember. But my family was poor so we bought the cheapest walmart special softball gloves because they were cheaper than a baseball glove. Thinner leather so not as stiff.
Ok this will sound weird however to get an amazing pocket in your glove, use oil/conditioner put a ball in the glove vacuum seal it and then steam it for roughly 5-10 mintutes. Works like a charm used this on several gloves.
I would say don't use any oil based conditioners at all. In addition to adding weight and darkening the leather they also soften the leather too much. Nobody wants a floppy glove. I recently found Sarna conditioner which is water based and so far hasn't caused any of the negative effects of oils.
I’d just like to say for any softball players!!!! In softball from what I’ve learned you need a different sized pocket!!!! Your thumb should reach somewhere between your pinky and ring finger (this is for jh to varsity player) if its middle finger it should probably be fine but won’t work as well and if it thumb you just aren’t going to have the easiest time ever catching the ball. This goes for both infield and outfield (however I recommend outfield getting a slightly larger glove) Otherwise all facts on this are true for softball and baseball
Hey rack I just got some Bruce bolts. I actually have the sunrises which you have on. They’re amazing if you’re checking out this comment I recommend you get some.
As a pitcher, OF, 1B, that’s what always felt comfortable for me. It gives a bigger pocket I think. I haven’t played in many years, but I thought I was the only one that did it. 🫡
I have a beautiful Lindor glove that my parents paid so much money for and I left it at the bottom of my bag for a month when I wasn’t playing and it has never been the same😢
For me I have put it under my bed so it will help it break in and then I go play also what if you play infield and outfield but your parents only get you one glove
I would oil my glove the night before every game. I had the 2010 two toned pro preferred trapeze outfielders glove, and that oil would turn it a deeeeeep sexy brown color. Was it super heavy? Oh yeah. Was I the baddest looking MF on the field?? You bet I was. Look good, feel good, play good baby.
@Baseballfanatic851 My glove is 15 years old and still perfect. If you buy cheaper steerhide leather gloves then definitely don’t do what I did because you’re right, it will ruin it.
@@RoganN10 because he’s coaching kids all day and has is bulge in their face.RAC is gay and a lot of people don’t know that. But he needs to tone things down when he’s around kids.
