Hello Mr.Bangert, I’m a thirteen year old baseball player. And I have a request, my dad has a old nokona kangaroo skin glove. So I have an idea for Christmas I was going to restore it for him, but my problem is I don’t know how. So I thought who better to restore a glove than you. So you willing to help? If not totally understandable. -Luke
I met Randy Myers when I was about 11. My step dad was friends with his aunt, so I was a fan of his and we'd go over to her house to watch Cubs games. Fast forward almost 30 years. I was on a slow pitch team with his nephew, while Randy also played but for a more competitive team. Coming straight from his nephew "He's an asshole". lol.
@ballgloveking I think I need to start using a 12.75, currently I've been using 44 glove size 14" but since it's getting a bit soft from the web, the ball has been pushing my web back and the ball has been Squirting out. 14" does give more range at short and second so I really don't want to lose that since I'm older now... do you think if I go size 13" I will have the same problem with the 14"? Or should I just go size 12.75 to avoid the problem?
Actually one team in my slow pitch league invited a former MLB player on their team he played 2 games He struggled in the first game but he hit a absolute Moon shot in the second game
I remember my dad tried to get me and my brother to ringer into his senior softball league smh. Had to refuse cause it would’ve just been extremely unfair to bring 2 actively playing teenagers at their athletic peaks into a league of old dudes lol
I was waiting for giants players to get asked because I was curious which you’d choose and at 6:16 you see joc pederson and Patrick Bailey did not respond 🤷♀️ (Bailey is my favorite player so I’m kinda sad tbh)
Right on man. Quit my life in Advertising to set my own hours and spend more time with family. Sure I don't have a flash office anymore, or wanky titles, but we do things as a family all the time and decide to travel whenever we want. I'm a super present father & husband...no regrets.
No they’re playing slow pitch softball. It’s what most dudes end up doing if they wanna keep playing past their baseball years. It’s like how hockey has beer league or football switches to flag. It’s just a more laid back and safe way to play.
