@@justanothersleeplessnight9315 Companies in Norway have the right idea. They know people hate advertisements. So they might as well try to make them funny. We also have an annual reward for the best TV commercial advertisement. It's called Gullfisken / The Golden Fish (don't ask me why it's called that). Who wins is determined by voting through SMS messages from the viewers.
Only TV ad i remember from visiting Norway was an ad for cod liver oil, I could not imagine a more Norwegian ad. A bunch of arctic explorers give a young Sami/Inuit girl a spoon full of co liver oil.
i'm begging the gods and all internet strangers who has ANY idea how to find the volkswagen ad- i have to make a presentation about commercials, and this one just screams to me :3
Basically, it's an online marketplace, where ads are placed for different goods and services, both from private persons and companies. In some ways kinda like Craigslist. - Job placements, selling/renting out real estate, selling/renting out cars, boats, motorcycles etc. - Travel - Input from-location, to-location and date, and Finn will search through hundreds of travel agencies and airlines. Same kind of solution for finding a hotel, rental car etc. - Offering services, like painting houses, mowing lawns, plumbing ++ - Or just selling basically anything: Bought a jacket you can no longer return, but don't want? Sell it on Finn. Getting a new bike? New furniture? Sell the old on Finn. You have way too much firewood? Picked too many berries? Finn. The explanation from Wikipedia - the most important parts of the (pretty tiny) wiki article: >FINN.no is a Norwegian classified advertisements website with sections devoted to jobs, housing, cars, for sale, travel, and services. >As of 2018, FINN.no is dominant in advertising for property and used vehicles in Norway, practically without any competition.
