This video is really well done, with lots of great pics to go along with the reports - plus, I gotta say that I agree with others saying that it’s really refreshing to see some content about Canada. I *love* hearing about people’s paranormal experiences in other countries; especially our great northern neighbor!

Look up The Missing 411. The story about the Canadian wilderness will give you even more chills. The amount of people that VANISH each year in the forests of the world. Or end up dead in odd circumstances.

Missing 411, it's crazy that people still refuse to believe the possibility of the existence of Sasquatch!! I guarantee you that at a few of those people gone missing were eaten by Sasquatch!! Sounds ridiculous but there is just way too much evidence, including DNA to continue to deny the existence of this species!! It comes down to this, who are you going to believe,a primatologist that has spent his entire life to the study of this and other primate species, someone who is the head of that department at Idaho university, or you can believe the US/Canadian governments!!! The choice is really quite obvious, or at least it should be, anyone with any common sense should know that you CANNOT believe ANYTHING the government says!!

Moving cemetaries is a pain in the ass. That's why a lot of "moved" cemetaries have only had the headstones taken away and the dead are left behind. I acquired part of my skeletal teaching collection from the leftovers of a "moved" cemetery here in town. In the early 1900s, when they were turning the area into a park, they brought in a road grader or a dozer and the examples I use in my workshops and classes were procured from the disturbed pile of dirt and debris.

The first park featured, Skeleton Park, OT hasn’t been rectified yet? Did I get that right? They still haven’t moved the bodies properly and given them proper burial rites to Rest In Peace? No wonder……
@heatherdelisle408
@heatherdelisle408 2 года назад
I used to live very close to this park, and from what I know, the bodies were mostly all moved. An archaeologist I used to know who worked at Queens University in Kingston said it was primarily bone fragments left behind, which I would think would be pretty common when moving mass graves? It IS a very creepy park at night -- but I think that's mostly because it's close to downtown and drug drops used to happen in the park pretty frequently. edit: I just realised that I was about 10 or 11 when I was told the bodies were gone, so maybe the woman was just trying to make me feel better since I played at that park so often? Hmm.

Omg Tweak n' Swill Park!!! Victoria is the closest "city" to my childhood home, and I've spent the majority of my life living there. We parted so hard in Beacon Hill as teenagers. It's actually pretty hardcore there. There's a chunk of the park devoted to anonymous "encounters". It's the irl grindr, but in bushes. There are whole camps in there where people live, because the housing situation is so dire, and even a shitty bedroom in a falling-down house can cost 1000-1500 a month. Our street community is *enormous*. I used to be a teenaged street urchin, and I've slept in Tweak n Swill more times than I could count. It's beautiful, though.

Man, you sound beat!! I was a beatnik in the late 50s; I bet we'd get along. Have you read any Kerouac, Burroughs , Seymour Krim, Ken Kesey? My whole life has been beat. I'm retired now and on methadone - never could stay clean😁 I am 88 years old and certainly was lucky. Too old to do meth anymore! Peace♾✌
@imaginepithynamehere4257
@imaginepithynamehere4257 2 года назад
@@barneyronnie are you seriously serious!?! That's the second time this year I've been compared to/called "beat" in the last little while! I find it both mystifying and highly complimentary. Thank you! I actually haven't read much of the beat greats at all, which is weird, because I LOOOOVE to read. However, you and I do seem to have several things in common. I was also heavily into down. I began as a young teenager ...around 14 years old. My parents are loving and all-around excellent, cool human beings. They didn't beat or neglect us kids. They provided a beautiful childhood in a wild, remote corner of the Pacific Coastal Rainforest, within walking distance of TWO different beaches. There was no emotional abuse...no abuse of *any* kind at home. There WAS childhood trauma from outside sources, however, and, now that I'm almost 40, I've come to realize that I'm undiagnosed *something*. Probably ADHD. Excluding one, all my nieces and nephews have been diagnosed with ADHD, at LEAST. The one who doesn't have ADHD, along with a mixed bag of other diagnoses like the others, is on the autism spectrum. I digress. Trauma and unchecked mental health issues are major reasons why people actively seek out a Better Living Though Chemistry-style escape, and for me, that was heroin. I begged, pleaded, wheeled, offered "special favours," or to pay double.... whatever I could try, to get my hands on heroin, for at least two years before I started. So I'd been actively hunting it down since 11 or 12. I finally found a friend my age who was already doing it. She was willing to pop my cherry, so to speak, for the low, low price of me bankrolling a point for her. I also didn't fool around with insufficient insufflation, or chasing any dragons. I went straight to the main vein. That's the only way I've ever done it. Everything else seemed like a huge waste, even from the beginning. Like you, I've also been on methadone forever. I began buying it off people when I was about 18, whenever my ice cream habit would get out of control. I officially went on The Program when I was 22-ish? I'd stay clean for a year or so, then use, or chip away at it, but I always had The Napsauce to fall back on. Even when I was completely, crazily, wired to the tits, I still took methadone. This made my dope consumption astronomical. I finally quit using heroin for good in my early 30s. It's been 7.5 years, and I haven't touched it. I haven't even wanted to. Still on the juice, but I've significantly dropped my dose. I was one of those people who got up to almost 300mls a day, while I was also doing at LEAST a gram and a half a day. That was my minimum. If I had a good night at The Agency, I'd treat myself and do 2.5 grams. Now, I'm down to 90mils of methadone. That's 9mmg in today's dosage, but I can't think in the "new" condensed form. I *was* at 36mils/day a year ago, but I had pushed myself too hard by trying to drop too fast. It grievously affected my mental health, dialled my already-constant anxiety up to, like, ELEVEN, and I became a complete mess. Hence, I had to jack it back up to 90/day. So, did you get fully kicked off the program, with your methadone? Or did you eventually, slowly and patiently, wean yourself off, ever so gently? You'd think as an octogenarian, the latter would be the way to go, as the former would surely kill you. With all the pain clinic BS that's going on these days, especially down in The States, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they just chained you to a radiator with a blanket, a towel, and a bucket. Things have gotten pretty draconian. "Oh noooooooo! We screwed up by letting Big Pharma run wild, and accepting their money for our political campaigns! Now, the amount of ordinary citizens who are completely wired to downers would fill the entire state of Texas, standing room only! What do we doooooo? Wait! I know! We take EVERYONE, kick them off their pain meds, even people who actually, seriously need them, and send them to "Pain" Clinics. That's right, folks! Grandma is a criminal! We're gonna put her on Methadone, then boot her off after a year, just so she can suffer even more egregiously! Then, she can access our 'services' at our Pain Clinic! Accupuncture, anyone?" 😂😭 Back to Beat. I did actually wrestle my way through Naked Lunch as a kid, but I wasn't like, "yeah, man: this is the complete tits!" I do enjoy Kafka, but is he Beat? Or is he more Dada? I'm completely in love with Orwell, Wyndham, Huxley, and Welles, as well as Heinlein, Asimov, and Phillip K Dick. As for music, I adore extreme Heavy Metal, but my tastes range far and wide. Absurdist, spectacular musicians like Frank Zappa, Mr.Bungle, Secret Cheifs 3, Ween, and Nomeanso are top of the list. I really love Yma Sumac and her "Exotica" ilk, as well as jazzy 50s/60s rockabilly-style tunes, and surf rock. Dick Dale...... anything that sounds like the opening music for The Ren And Stimpy Show, I dig. The Monks are badass. (the 60's band; although I like a few of the songs by the 80's The Monks, too) I love ska from first to third wave, especially the more jazzy/big band-leaning stuff, like Skavoovie And The Epitones or Metiskapheles. Reggae is big: I loooooove Toots And The Maytalls. There's too much music to list!! First and foremost, I'm a metalhead. The heavier the better. I could list off a ton of heavy bands that give me goosebumps... Carcass, Nile, Death, Dying Fetus, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Celtic Frost, Melvins, old Deicide, At The Gates, Suffocation......the list goes on and on. Punk, alternative/college radio, 70s and 80s hard rock, some hip hop like Deltron Zero/Del Tha Funky Homosapien, Beastie Boys....stuff along those lines..... It's easier to list music I don't enjoy. There's also my slanguage usage. Like beat poets, I have my own, intricate slang that I employ liberally, regardless of whom I'm speaking with or writing to. This has all been "me, me, me....." What's your story?? If you have an email address, perhaps we could exchange stories without cluttering up the comments section, here? You can reach me at InsertPithyNameHere@protonmail.com . How's that sound? I'd love to hear your stories, and if you have any book/music/film recommendations, that would be rad! Here's the thing, though: since I cleaned up, but especially in the last few years, I find it increasingly difficult to focus on reading. This is disturbing and strange, because my entire life was devoted to reading. Books were my first escape; reading my first drug. I started reading very early, reading Time and National Geographic at 3 years old. Actually *reading*, not just looking at pictures. My parents tell stories- that I'd come up to them, book in hand, and ask, "what does (word) *mean*?" . Not "What's this word?" I'd already sounded it out, and could say it, I just didn't know what it meant. Throughout most of my life, I was devouring at least 3-6 books a week, often more. Then.....poof. No more concentration. I'll get a 3rd of the way into a book, and I just can't latch on. Even the easiest, most mainstream, mass-market stuff. I can barely get through a Stephen King book!! It's heartbreaking. I wonder how much my smartphone has to do with this? Did you notice this problem when you got off methadone, or down? A few friends with similar circumstances are going through the same thing. Voracious readers who suddenly cannot consume the written word with the same bottomless appetite. It breaks my heart. The same has happened with movies, too. I find it nearly impossible to sit through a whole movie, when I used to spend entire weekends just watching one after the other. Anyway. I'd love to chat more with you, if you're interested. Please drop me a line, if you want?

Headless Valley is one of the most beautiful places to see..... If you can get there. It's almost completely untouched by man. Im guessing its also the most terrifying I'm sure. Mr. Ballen did a pretty in depth episode about it. In one area where you have to go down a river there are all these caves that no one has ever been in because they are just too hard to get to.

Somewhere in Nahanni Valley is a cave with a collection of skulls... The obsessive need for gold is a terrible thing.

They did the same thing to the park in Brockville ON. Built a park on.too of a mass grave yard without moving the bodies.

I was hiking alone in a very remote section of Maine (Moxie Bald Mountain) and was the only one on the trail. I was 16 miles into the wilderness just to reach the trailhead. On my way back down I had stopped to take a break on a nice rock to sit on. I heard a woman's voice down the trail not too far away. It was brief like maybe she was talking with a group but heard her voice and not the others. I expected her and possibly others to round the trail in a few minutes. I watched for someone to appear and nothing. I waited more and nothing but complete stillness. So I thought maybe they had stopped or further away than I thought. I made some noise to alert anyone there was someone else (me) up ahead and proceeded down. I never heard anyone again or saw anyone the entire way back. When I reached the trailhead, a mark I made in the middle of the trail (to help direct my way) was still there untouched and no sign of another vehicle that came in. It wasn't so much scary at the time because I thought maybe they were just ahead of me but why would they then go back and not keep up towards the summit direction? Nothing to see down in the valley except forest. I wonder what it was I heard because I was certain I heard a woman's voice just down the trail.

Couldn’t they have, I don’t know, found a different place to put a park? 😭 Story time! When I was five, I went to a Catholic school and where we would have recess there was a graveyard just beyond that small field area and I always went over there because I felt safe and the other kids would bully me a lot so I spent my time alone. But I wasn’t really alone when I was in that graveyard. I always always knew just instinctively that you do not step on somebody’s grave And so I would step around the graves and I would talk to the people I saw there. The people that nobody else could see. I always wondered though why we had our recess right next to that graveyard because there was more fields on the land than just that one. I wasn’t mad about it though, because I really did just like to sit under the trees and feel at peace in that graveyard.

If Ridgeway killed those Canadian women then he wasn't required to confess to them as per his deal with the FBI after they linked him via DNA to 2 murders in California. You should also catch up on his case. He's been convicted of 91 murders in Washington with 27 still pending, 3 in Oregon and 2 in California. The deal he made with the FBI guaranteed him a life sentence in a federal penitentiary but he had to confess to every murder he committed in Washington, Oregon and California. As well as lead law enforcement to every body and turn over any information he had on his victims for identifying purposes. This is why 27 cases are still pending as they haven't found those bodies yet. But law enforcement is confident that they will find the bodies as they have found every body so far. Investigators theorize that he has more victims in Vietnam as he served 2 tours there during the war. A lot of teenage prostitutes running around there and no desire by law enforcement to find the ones that go missing. Ridgeway was a monster and should never get out of jail but I do think he could solve many more murders. The 2 in San Francisco linked to him was his mother and his mother's roommate. Both of which were probably why he targeted teenage prostitutes and he was only 13 when he killed them so there's another decade and some time we still don't know what he was doing or even where he was. However unless these ladies were teenage prostitutes it's highly unlikely Ridgeway killed them.

How very disrespectful of those people just to cross over the cemetery what about respect for the dead? They should have all been moved and respectfully re-buried, you have no idea what you have done the dead will come back to haunt the living for a very long time until all the dead are removed, and re buried
