Exactly right plus there was no Alpha no 1 receiver to throw to(or legit no 2 for that matter) and the defense especially early was horrible putting them in constant holes they couldn't get out of.

Keep him same role as last year as ilb in passing downs and let him compete with McFadden. Simmons will pbly start ilb by mid season.

Two things-the line wasn't the same the only good lineman Thomas went out first series and everyone else got hurt and was terrible..Second-Jones from 2020-2022 led all of football in completion pct of deep throws.Sometimes it helps to actually know what you are talkbng about.

I doubt it, he's mostly schemed open with picks. I can't see him doubling his yards from 525 to 1000 yds. But I could see 800. Even if they draft a WR1.

Wandell was schemed open with quick pick routes a lot. D 's should shut them down this year. He should have a good year hopefully he can step up to being a Welker type now that saquon not here for outlet passes.

@@Thagomizer-U235 Singletary is as good a receiver out of the backfield as Saquon was.We won't lose anything there.Every team that has quick receivers schemes them at the LOS for plays like that-couple of years ago Buffalo with Daboll and K.C. were the two top teams at LOS dumpoffs.Wandale has really improved his pattern running from his short 5 games as a rookie and coming back from the ACL throughout last season.Everything depends on how the new guys and coach get the OLIne going.You can't throw as Sean O'Hara said when you plant your back foot to throw and two guys are in your face.

They made dramatic changes for the first time in 15 years.

@@cooldude7821 you’re right but Daniel jones is in year five still can’t read past his first receiver and stares down receivers as if he’s seen big foot for the first time, but has the ability to scramble better than 89% of the quarterbacks in the nfl.. dumb the offense down and get the ball out his hands quick and designed play action that rivals what the ravens do with Lamar.. but noooooooo we drop edge rushers into pass coverage and look for our quarterback to be Eli 2.0 even though he has skills traits that leans for him to be a different style of quarterback .. you can’t name one player we play their strongholds not 1.

@@cooldude7821 since Daniel jones rookie year the Tampa game were we thought he broke out.. he should have only thrown 35% or less in the pocket. Everything should be quick slants, roll outs , draw plays, play action.. I don’t know the numbers but he always excel it seemed on the move just moving around not being a sitting duck.. he’s a physical specimen when he runs baby cam newton 6’5 moving is a sight a defender thinks twice about his assignment.. they were supposed to groom his throwing on the run not standing in the pocket reading defenses.. 49ers would of developed him just right..

Everything you sad is true but what if An organization puts him in the right situation with the right team and ask him to just manage the game and play to his strengths and develop his strengths it’s a good chance not 100% but good chance he would string together more games like his rookie year in Tampa and the Arizona game before he got hurt this previous year. It’s a big if.. but being a giants fan and watching him more than once almost take that step to where he is a top 10 quarterback hell im a go top 7 when he got everything clicking because his deep is on point, he can see past his first and second read, has accuracy, can feel pressure and escape and get 12 yards all when he is clicking. THEN….. reality hits! Within the same drive after moving the ball lets 65 yards looking like a well oiled machine.. his magic completely goes away and I mean you won’t see that until the fourth quarter 2 to 3 games LATER.. for a fact I know there’s at least 4 gm I’m guessing but…. That says to their owner this kid shows more promise than Ryan and geno before they turned their careers around we can make something happen… I could be wrong but I’m willing to bet our development is at the bottom half of the league..
