⭐ Video idea: Pls do a vid about zero gravity reclining chairs for pain relief/ergonomic sitting. The best version zero gravity chair I've found which is also affordable is the Timberidge brand. It's also lightweight but sturdy & can be folded easily. There are other lower priced zero gravity chairs but they are not high quality and aren't as sturdy as Timberidge. The zero gravity chair is great for back relief & other joint issues. I have one chair in my living room and another chair I keep in my car for social outings/appts when I'll be sitting for longer periods (doctor's appts, therapist appt, church, etc... even the movie theater!). Sooo comfortable. These chairs were made for reclining outdoor but I discovered the benefits of using the chair to relieve back pain, hip pain, etc. I cope w Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome = constant pain & joint issues throughout my entire body = sitting is very painful. The local community acupuncture clinic also uses these chairs when administering treatments to pts in their community acupuncture rooms. No, I'm not a rep for Timberidge. Just a happy customer. Their zero gravity chair has changed my life; I want to share my experience w others so they may improve their lives too. It would be nice to see the world's most famous PTs do a review of the product.
Yay! Two Nebraska shout-outs! Brad wears shoes with the Big Red N and Johnny Carson, of course, is from Norfolk, NE. In fact, there is a Carson Theatre there and he also had donated a bunch of money for the now-defunct Royal Zoo. My husband sleeps in the recliner. I hate them. And I also don't like firm mattresses or chairs. Go figure.
The leg wedge is wonderful! I do the one with the chair when I can't be bothered moving my yoga mat close to the wall to do legs up the wall, you get the same result and benefits, in some ways using the chair can be more relaxing
I have started to sleep on a wedge pillow on my back with a pillow under my legs as well. I noticed that my heart rate is lower when I first wake up. I take my blood pressure every morning and prior to bed. Is this common?
You know Brad, if you put an arrow on the back of that sign it would make it easier on you. Everytime you go to display it you're checking it several times. Just a thought.
My Nana had a reclining chair. I lived with her. When I was younger I slept in in a few times on purpose. Sometimes it was the only feeling of my own room. Anyway in a recliner when you are more of a side or stomach sleeper it blocks you from doing so in your sleep. Now at my current age I can appreciate that concept when occasionally I need that restriction. You'd think the pain would keep you on your back. For me (side sleeper) I don't know why, that isn't always the case. Then I have to prop up stuff around me to try and block myself. Annoying because pillows and stuff are easily swished 😂. Just my take.
I tried that in it’s not working I’ve also bought a pillow wedge to try to see if that would work instead of a regular pillow nothing I am in severe low back pain but been through doctors and they say it’s nothing they can do
Nice seeing this video.. i passed it along to some people i know with these issues.... i am personally looking for a wedge pillow i can use for my C 6-7 pinched nerve that goes down into my left forefingers along with my heart failure so i sleep better propped up along a wedge along with my rotator cuff issue.. have a suggestion on a brand or heighth i should aim for.. i am in need for one to get off this couch and back to my bed... thanks guys.. you are the best PTs
Are you in therapy for the nerve? Are you seeing a pain doctor? I wrecked that nerve in December. Therapy helped sooooooo much! And I have had the Novocaine shots and now will be having the nerve ablation. Sounds awful, but it's not.
@@shalacarter6658 yeah i had therapy before for it but then the rotator cuff and shoulder issues took forefront.. now they traded again and back to my neck as it was disrupting my arm's progress making it lose range of motion.. sighs at what u have gone thru but glad to hear u are better
@@shalacarter6658 i cannot do shots.. had a reaction to the kenalog and marcaine in the shoulder so toughing it out with ice and cold wraps with tylenol 325 mg's due to systolic heart failure.. i am trying to overcome..
Dr Joseph Jacobs is a pioneer his is a chiropractor but he invented gadgets including 2 very strong magnets. He doe his method with no pain and his work is long term relief.
Wonderwoman Diana Can we buy these gadgets online? Where is his practice? I've seen some of the great work chiropractors do but they seem to be so far away! Thanks!
