Very good video. I think there is an emotional aspect to this as well. Growing up I was very shy, and my stuttering compounded this and Vice versa. Sometimes I tell myself, “turn your weakness into a strength,” and try to figure out a way to do that. So even though my stuttering is a weakness, it has also made me a better listener, more compassionate, and humble. It doesn’t make up for it, but trying to turn at least some of our weakness into a strength is important rather than just thinking negatively all the time about our shortcomings.

I felt when I had speech therapy when I was young slowing words down made my speech more noticeable and gave my brain a overload and made my anxiety worse trying to address to myself I had to pause to get my words out what worked for me I taught myself to replace my words to keep the conversation flowing I use actually alot and like I’m 39 now and I’ve found what works for me to keep my sentence flow better xxx❤

Bro should I do mouth breathing or belly breathing before going to talk. which one do you suggest

I wouldn’t categorize mouth breathing and belly breathing as necessarily distinct from each other. Mouth breathing is a natural part of conversation. I would say the key is to find a middle ground between a shallow and a deep breath. Shallow breathing leads to higher stress but overly deep breathing can induce stress as well if it becomes forced. Breathing should feel very smooth and rhythmic and natural.

I started using the free workshops and it's been 2 weeks and I was wondering if it really works by itself or do I need to part the academy speaking too?

Marc , do you still practice your routine everyday ?
@speakyourmindmethod

No, not anymore because the point isn’t to do a routine forever. I’ve reached a point where I’m able to maintain my practice through making RU-vid videos and simply going about my day. I still like to read aloud sometimes just because it feels good for my voice.
