Right, they're actually fairly sleek. They do have a wide toe box, but no more than many other boots that *don't* get called clown shoes. For people with wide feet, this is a good thing.
Size the hell down i got fitted today they wanted me a half size down from 12.5 based off of the foot machine, I fit a sneaker 11.5 and i didn't have a snug fit until i dropped to 9.5 D
@@colt-_-jonson1743Just to add my own experience for people finding this, I normally wear a 13-14 in wide depending on the shoe and got 13 wides and they fit me very snug, I’d even maybe go up if they had wides in larger sizes. Definitely a boot to try on first before buying
Shoe trees help keep the toe box from pointing upwards giving it that “clown shoe” look. It keeps your shoes looking fresh when they are stored away in your closet.
I love the iron rangers. But Redwing needs to stitch the gemming. They come loose over time because they only glue em. Otherwise, they’re my favorite boots.
Unironically my Iron Rangers are my fancy/classy boot of choice 😂😂. They don’t really look clownish on me and with a nice pair of slacks and a good polo or dress shirt and I feel like I look like a million bucks. Would definitely Iron Rangers as they are sturdy as they are nice looking.
I love my Iron Rangers, don't think it looks like a clown shoe at all. I do agree that it needs more shock absorption, plan on putting a midsole and lug sole when it is time to resole. They really fit my foot well.
They look small on my feet and when I polish them up im told they look nice or they look like dressy/fancy. Copper rough and tough with snoseal which darken the leather and brown shoe polish
They are designed to mimic how the human foot should look .Wide toebox helps feet stretch out increasing foot strength and reducing injury . Healthy feet are more important than how the boot looks
i love the toe. i hate the "super sleek pointy toe" on most other modern service boots, it looks SO dainty and effemininite (nothing wrong with that if thats your style...). IRs look like a man's boot.
