There are but two vectors for confusion to come against us. Internally & externally. Internally we may have our emotions spinning out of control because we "feel" that we found the one, but our mind interrupts us and asks us to slow down & think things through, our inner man or spirit may be telling us to fast a day or two and spend time with the Lord to get his guidance & direction. At this point you have to gain knowledge & understanding to discern the difference between spirit, soul, and body. Externally your Mom or Dad my dislike the one you're interested in, while your friends at church think you've found the one. This all can be overcome by looking to the Holy Spirit inside you as he will lead & guide you into all truth because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.
If I could give your comment more than one like, I would like this a billion times. Things that are not literally written in the Bible can be discerned by the Holy Spirit.

Yes weirdly I just realized that God brought me a prodigal because it honestly strengthened my faith. God saw areas that needed help with Gods help before He can give me a kingdom marriage. God didn’t want me to have a premature marriage. He wanted me walking into it with a more mature spirit and not that of a child.❤ iron sharpens iron is really true. But only with the man/women that God has appointed for you. It won’t work with anyone else.

You make so much sense. I believe I am going through this right now with the man I love. I find myself constantly telling God I'm so confused. I know I need improvement in the areas of faith and trust in God. So I believe God allows this as well to test us from time to time.

Hi Mark, this video has come at the right for me. I have waited and prayed for God to send a man to my life. I have not dated for years as I decide to focus on bringing my 3 kids up after my marriage ended. I have been single for about 20 years. So recently This guy came along by what I thought a divine appointment. We have been talking for the last 3 months. We have so many things in common and we get on so well. Most of the time we chat until early hours of the morning. We met recently and both us our life stories were so similar. I even told him that I abstained for years as I waited for the right man. After meeting, he still kept in contact. But this week, I have not heard from him. He has said he would like a relationship but he currently looking for work after completing his PhD. It’s been 5 days since we spoke and I had contacted picked a signal like he was a bit off. Not sure what to do as I believe God has sent him to me.
if he doesn't pursue, you heard God wrong and he's not the man for you. You could invite him to pursue and contact him first a few times here and there. But if he doesn't show enough interest you just have to accept he's not the one

Christians have forgotten the true personality of Christ and God. God IS NOT a God if confusion! Confusion comes when you're too fleshly and carnally minded, which is a work of the world, hence the devil. I met someone who is a Calvinist. I knew nothing about Calvinism before meeting this soul. We're both older (60+), this soul is now going through divorce #2 because the wife was 'recalcitrant' and wasn't obeying. This prompted me to study the leanings of Calvinism, and in so doing came upon Patriarchy. All the pieces fell into place. 1st wife divorced him because she wanted an identity. He leaves 2nd wife due to extreme fighting. Riddle me this...after four decades of being a widow myself, why am I attracted to this character? I don't think this is a God thing, yet, we seem to be like magnets. He can't pursue me just yet because there is no ink on the divorce papers. But he is keen. I am attracted to him for several different reasons. I know he loves the Lord, but the Calvinism thing is almost cult like.
I completely agree with all these reasons. I just really wish that it was easier to not be anxious in times of confusion. Out of all things that the Bible says is sinful I know that anxiety is the sin I’ve done the very most.
Been talking with a gal online, and she's been driving me crazy because she wants me to send her things. Thankfully, I have not caved in, but have been praying that she will get herself off the couch and do something with her life. She couldn't take her final medical exam because she was short of the money she needed to pay for it. The whole thing makes me feel like I'm more of a coach than a romantic interest, yeah it's weird.

All I hear is difficulty difficulty difficulty. That’s all life is. I can’t ever have an hour of peace. Just constant anxiety since I surrendered to Jesus. It doesn’t matter how many times I hear give it to Jesus. Constant anxieties. I can’t ever have peace. The attacks are never enough. I literally want to die and have wanted to for months. This is ridiculous. We’re gonna get to heaven for more and more difficulty too I bet. It never ends. Constant pain and suffering. I’m done doing it. I can’t take it. I just want at least a single day of vacation I hate my life and myself. Nothing will ever give me peace

I understand exactly what your going thru lately my life has felt like one irritation after another, but do no that there is a season for everything and that God is going to bless us in some how or way. We just gotta stay patient and go thru the fight. Just pray to God and tell him how you feel, cry to Him if you half to.
Hi, I’ve been in your situation before. You’re tired of fighting and at some point you feel like you’re going to explode. It’s unbearable BUT I have overcome through Jesus Christ and YOU CAN TOO. You feel like you’re going to explode, do it. Cry your heart out. Scream. Seek the Lord while doing so, seek counsel from those who you look up to for faith. Keep going because believe me the Lord definitely does hear you. Remind yourself of His Truths. His Word is meant to bring transformation. He is our Joy and Peace. Ask the Holy Spirit, talk to Him about this matter in constant prayer and wait for the answer. Don’t tell anybody about this, and God will give you dreams, visions, verses in the Bible, sermons in your church… there are thousands of ways, and He will use more than one.
I need help! I’ve been dating my bf for 1.5 years now & for 8 months we have been talking about marriage but still nothing no ring we are older & time is ticking for a child I don’t know how to talk to him about this but I’m starting to feel less interested in him & a part of me wants to end the relationship but not sure if I should. I wasn't Christian at the time but had I followed these rules, I wouldn't be divorced today. Just as a heads up. Ya don't wanna be unequally yoked. Yoked means, like, a mule pulling weight. If you're unequally yoked, you're going to bare your cross and their cross as well. It turns abusive and unhealthy. It's better that two Christians are together because they'll be pulling their own cross, admitting to their own sins in secrecy to Christ and continually growing with Christ. A marriage without Christ turns in a tally mark marriage. Tid for tat. A Christian marriage isn't like that. A Christian marriage is two people being self accountable. It's to correct the sin made by Adam and Eve. Instead of Eve blaming the serpent. Instead of Adam blaming God. They are being self-accountable. That's why the church is a Bride and Jesus is the groom. Jesus carried our cross and forgave our sins. And now it's time for us to be self-accountable and learn to love Jesus back. That's why Jesus is so passionate about marriage. Because it represents God's love for His church and the churches love back to God. Lord knows I did everything I could for my marriage but there was no repentance of sins and no actions of belief in Jesus. So now I'm divorced. Wondering if I could ever be married again. Most likely not but I do pray for marriage.
You quoting 1 Corinthians 14:33 and saying how God allows confusion is an open contradiction, isn't it? 1 John 5:7, God will never allow contradiction on even the Holy scriptures(2 Timothy 3:16). You've will know if you find "The One" if they show the qualities of a virtuous husband/wife. Ephesians 5:22-33, Proverbs 31:10-31, Titus 2:1-8, 1 Timothy 3, 1 Timothy 2:9-14.
Mark,do you think it can be applied as well,if he is periodically pulls away..? specially after having a nice day, talking about the Lord and all?
