I think you're spot on. Even as a professional photographer/videographer we can't always afford the latest and greatest, especially when invoice payments are delayed, and the market is extremely saturated by cheap competition. Cheers
@@listentothestars at the ceremony, I put my zve1 in a tripod and my 7iv in my gimbal/handheld, at the moment of speeches, I use my zve1 as b roll, and the 7iv in a tripod recording the couple, when it starts to be dark i stay only with my zve1 but also shooting with the 7iv every second shoot, that is why i am actually thinking to buy an atomos, the one card slot it gives me a bit of stress.
@@listentothestars I rarerly take photos. But I dont sell it because i rent it, and very often. But in video its like having a Fx3 in2 😉 what the zve1 cant the 7iv can and viceversa. The fx30 it was to noisy I live in Denmark, so its 9 months dark and 3 kind of summer
Hey Hi, Thanks for your informative video. i just need few suggestions before making my decision, I am in to wedding videography so what would you be suggesting to go with? FX3 / FX30 / ZV E 1?
The ZV-E1 'fix' should be to buy a FX30. Don't use the zve1 'professionally'. It has far too many short comings. If you need a video camera to use professionally on a budget, the FX30 should be at the top of your list.
Awesome review! Does your ZVE1 have a loose micro hdmi port? I’m not sure if this is normal because on some of Sony’s camera they have Floating structure hdmi port design to relieve stress/froce. My ZVE1 has a pretty loose port moving back/forth. Just wanted to ask if other owers have similar port.
Great video. I like options and this for sure it’s one of them. However I’m not too convinced for professional work with the lack of a fan. I have the ZV-E10 and it overheated on me several times during 4k shooting at an event. That prompted me to get the FX30 which I love! I’m in the market for a second camera and I did consider the ZV-E1 or perhaps an A7IV in crop mode since I don’t own FF lenses. Decision decisions. For wedding gigs I rather play it safe. But if you ask me I’m tempted to get this cam! Would you get an A7Iv if you already owned all the cropped sigmas or a second fx30? It’s a big dilemma for me. I’m wondering if the crop mode on the A7IV gives great images compared to the FX30. No fan but has 2 card slots. Gotta love Sony for making it difficult for me. Lol
I now shooting music video and short commercial for social media on Sony a6700 but wanna full frame and of course I want fx3 but looking now on zv-e1 because I don’t have a large budget and I want buy light and good quality lenses, what can you recommend ?
I’m doing the same thing. Stick to wider lenses for the music video clips. I got a 16-35 mm PZ Sony lens, and I’m looking for the 1.8 Sony 50mm lens get those and ur set . I have the ZVE1 also for a week now with this lens and it’s a fucking beast
I never gotten mine to overheat. and I always shoot 4k24 and 4k60. it's really only a problem if you want to make long form content like documentary, interviews, etc where you need to keep recording for longer periods. otherwhise the overheating is not a problem.
What crazy guy does vlog at 4k 60fps 10bit 4:2:2? overheat camera if you're recording with its maximum ability in the field rarely has the condition that someone has to record 60 fps 10bit, let me tell you 60 fps is used if you want to do slow motion
