Yeah, there's always a way. You have to do equivalency exams that would show you're at the same level as vets graduating in Canada/US. Not the most efficient way to go about it, but it's definitely possible.

Yup! To apply, I believe you need proof of education in English and have taken a Latin language course. Good luck 👌🏼

Hey Carmen, that's a great question. Currently it is not, but it is accredited by the European commission (EAEVE) which means that after graduation you can practice anywhere in the EU - France, Portugal, Germany, Spain, etc. Of course, you could still return to Canada or the US but will need to sit the equivalency exams (ECFVG I believe?). Hopefully before I graduate we will have worked on the AVMA accreditation part too 🙂.

@@carmencarrillo5900 Yeah actually, I looked at both those options. I applied to Melbourne thinking I'd figure out the expenses of studying there if I received an offer. I did end up getting an offer for admissions, but the costs were ridiculously expensive (as are most AVMA schools) so I declined that option. Budapest I didn't apply to because they were asking for an entrance exam, and to be honest, I'm so over writing entrance exams to prove my worth/knowledge on some standardized test. Otherwise, I applied to: Ireland - offered Scotland - interviewed but no offer Carribean - offered Canada - no offer Zagreb - offered Melbourne - offered Let me know if you have other questions!

Do you know what entrance exam Budapest asked for, is it like the GRE or something equivalent (I am American) also if I am correct the other schools that you applied to you didn't need an entrance exam right? Ireland and Melbourne follow the AVMA

@@carmencarrillo5900 I'm not too sure about the entrance exam but I know they had one and that it was more similar to an SAT because students are entering out of high school. As for the others, they did not have entrance exams.
