Bucks are intresting. We know Giannis is gonna be dominant. But if they can get dame to be just 70% of what he was in Portland the Bucks are a scary team. They have already imporved their perimeter defense with the additions of Garh Trent and Prince.

I couldn’t agree more. Just the absence of drama will be huge (Dames off court mess, and Griffin) will make them automatically better. I laugh when people claim Dame, Kris, or Brook are washed up. That is some next level crazy. Those players are still crushing it, and all playing second option (or third or fourth) to an all time great in Giannis. I am expecting absolute dominance this season from the Bucks. And if Doc can drive Budenholzer level discipline for this team, I see another Larry O’brian coming to MKE!

GTJ is a really good shooter and he’s still relatively young, but he can be streaky at times and he has a bit of an ego. I think the only reason Toronto let him walk is because they have other shooters at better value, there wasn’t a spot for him on the Raptors. He’s a solid player who was simply overshadowed in the rotation during his stint in Toronto. If Milwaukee makes him a key offensive player, he’s an easy 6th man of the year candidate every season. He’s kinda what Kevin Huerter was for Atlanta, or Eric Gordon 6 years ago

So I like the video but I am a big Bucks as well. So far Dame has not been able to time the pick n roll with Giannis the whole year but was able to run it with Lopez who barely scores at the rim anymore but also why we saw it at times more last year. Also Holiday didn't have an issue with it. I am a bit worried that they just do not fit well. Also Dame relies way more on getting to the line then I knew before the trade and he is not going to get many calls with Giannis getting so many as is. I like/love how they built this roster with what they had and with Giannis there is always a chance. I do Think Dame still has it , the first half of the season he was playing close to post season like games with other teams taking their best shot while The Bucks were just winning off talent alone. I think Beasley was a huge issue as well since in reality the best move would have been to keep Holiday and just keeping Beasley. They are not the same player , I get that Dame as said can bring the ball up while Bealey is mostly a catch and shooter , still , they could have had Allen and Holiday bring the ball up , they would have been in a better spot. I begged for this trade for years and even though I layed out reason why not , I am glad they did and it's mostly the other roster spots that The Bucks messed up on by not keeping either Allen and Matthews . That was quite convincing, and makes me sad, since I'm a Raptors fan. When they gave up Jrue, I knew it would be a big problem, and it was, but, as you point out, they addressed that this off-season. Only caveat: I think you're over-estimating Delon, and maybe GTJ too, by a bit. GTJ is pretty useful, and ends up starting a lot, even though he's never complained when his role has been assigned as coming in off the bench, but he is verrrrry streaky. Maybe Milwaukee's depth can handle that, when Toronto's couldn't. I guess you'll find out.

I do believe Giannis and dame need to do more pick n rolls. However, griffin didn’t implement that often cuz Giannis is horrible at setting picks. This is in large part due to his thin waist. I’ve watched multiple games over the last several seasons watching him set picks and defenders just slide right around him cuz he has such a narrow frame.
