i absolutely LOVE my a53. going on day 3 the sound is incredible and camera takes beautiful pictures. i can't believe i was about to spend an extra $150 for the S20 FE. the battery is incredible! so glad i did my research and went with the A53 you cant beat it for the price and quality that comes with it
Hey. I am glad that you are happy with it. I've also bought it todat But please can you tell me why when i save contact and i want to put an emoji after it, it says that i cannot put emoji while saving contact on sim. Pov. I live in paksitan, bought it from here. Charging cables says "made in china" and also it's not charging fast. Althought i've type c to c charger of my old galaxy a70 and using it with new cable give by a53. Pls reply. Smelling a scam.i hope i am wrong.
Thanks I almost pulled trigger on S20 fe for 700 bucks, ( well currently free on Verizon but dont want to swap plans.) Ok a real humanoid speaking out helps alot
Yes ! i am still using my 2017 A5, never a problem but looking to upgrade to something better and i think the A53 is going to be it for sure, larger display and better cameras are mostly what i'm after, looks good.
Just replaced a 5 year-old Samsung J3 with the A53..what a massive upgrade! Battery lasts twice as long, camera is no contest. Even the built-in speaker is pretty nice by comparison (old one is tinny).
@@Vidhu.1 It doesn't seem slow at all, but I never had a higher-end phone until this point (just budget-tier stuff). Amazon Music is the slowest thing I use; On my old Samsung J3 it loaded in 15-20 seconds, and on the A53 its 3-5 seconds. I think it needs to face the test of time, Samsung phones seem to bloat and slowdown with ad-ware over time, in my experience.
That's good for you. I used A52 for 8 months and had lots of issues. The finger print scanner took way too long to recognize and most of the time it didn't even recognize. After 6 months with most of the apps updated the battery 🔋 used to drain way too quickly. Though the camera was nice 📸
I replaced a 2016 J3 with a A33 (Basically same deal but cheaper camera) although the Battery on the J3 was lasting for quite a while since I simply couldn't do anything with it anymore lacking space and having to deinstall half the system to be able to even look at my e-mail. The J3 is absolute garbage, and this is a perfectly serviceable phone that does what it should.
One thing people don't mention - the back panel is made from Samsung's "Glasstic" and honestly it's nice enough that it's the first phone in a while i didn't immediately buy a case for, just a screen protector
Don't know why people like wireless charging and complain when a phone doesn't have it because Wireless charging ABSOLUTELY SUCKS , it is so slow and when the phone is charging you can't use it for anything except for taking a call hands-free.
I bought A53 at time of launch. It's great for me due to full day battery and promise of long updates. I'm not gamer or heavy user, just calls, normal social media, youtube, music and chrome. Last me easily full day with 20% left.
I got this phone for my Grandson's birthday and he loves it. I have an Samsung A20s which i liked it first but not after seeing this phone. I will be getting one for myself soon.
My brother bought it for me today God bless him. I used it today got a case and screen protector it looks clean af I like it so far downloaded all my apps Netflix etc. It's good I can't complain I'll update within a week or send me a text if any questions
So how is it now? If I bought this phone, would it feel like an upgrade? I currently have a refurbished Samsung galaxy S7. But I want a phone that has security. Plus more memory and ram, sadly this phone isn't as fast as I remember it. Also the cameras are grainy. 😐
I personally just got the A53 5G. It’s a great phone and if you don’t use heavy can last two days on a charge. My only problem w Samsung is their A line is getting too confusing. Cause it’s almost identical to the A52 5G. And international buyers get the A33 5G which is almost similar to both the A52 & A53! It’s crazy. Nevertheless, still a great device.
Just bought this, moved from a pixel 3. Only issue I have scrolling apps is a bit jerky. Otherwise fine & inn Europe we get a choice of colours. Loving my pale blue.
I love the speakers on the a53. The battery as pretty good-I still keep mine in 85%. What I dislike is having to unlock the phone just to turn the phone volume up/down or off.
Had to downgrade from zflip to the a53 the zflip disappointed me big time with the screen issue of breaking so easily, thanks glad I got something worth it from 600 dollars to 280 with the trade in through Amazon! 👌🐼
Honestly the A53 is just bang on amazing, has no notch or massive bezels, bigger, better and more powerful than the iPhone se..which is £200 more expensive.
I'm considering changing my S22 for an A53 just for the battery life. It's really annoying to have a good phone but watching the battery go down the way it does.
You could return your s22 for another s22. Battery quality differs. Or you could open the phone and replace the battery with a better battery. I would do whatever you can to keep the s22. It is worth it.
@@Bakeybakeyeggsandwakey thanks! I do like the phone and tbh either the battery life has slightly improved or I'm getting used to it but it isn't that annoying anymore.
@@Bakeybakeyeggsandwakey the s22 is still pretty new, the battery wouldn't have degraded yet. It's just that the S22 has a smaller battery and a much more powerful CPU that drains the battery. You would solve nothing with a battery replacement.
I thought you said you had it for 8 years for a second lol....very impressive :-P I would imagine the phone would need a recharge every 30 minutes at that point XD
I think the next year A50 and A70 series of A series deserve Wireless charging because Plus editions of the Amazon fire Tablets that are a Series of tablets that I buy and are way Cheaper have Wireless charging pads. Like the Hd 8 Plus and the Hd 10 plus. I don't think It would be that expensive of a Feature for Samsung to Add into the next A series lineup. I'm not Sensitive to that feature. But It would be a nice addon for next gen A50 and A70 series like when water ratings where Introduced around the launch of the A52 and A72
I had the iPhone 3g until 2 years ago, it worked like a champ and the battery lasted 3-4 days! Unfortunately it finally died and I bought the A51 which I still have.
Thank you. I am trying to convince myself with this phone although the bad comments regarding its processor. People arguing that A52s 5G is far better than it. My other alternative is to buy A73.
@J L Thank you for your kind response. I think it is not important where I am living. I mean, if i traveled to a country where it has 5G, or sometimes you wish to hold a mobile capable of 5G so that, it will provide you with powerful connection. Anyway, I already bought M52. I guess it might be better than A53 but not in everything I wish.
I was about to pull a trigger to buy A53 at Amazon for $350. But stop! Samsung told me, let me adjust price to $450. Thanks, I will buy something else for the amount.
What people are not understanding about the a53 is that the exynos 1280 chipset is a brand new chip that came out a month ago not old or re used but brand new give it the time to get updates and be optimized just like all these other phones had years of updates this phone is a month old all the benchmarks prove it has better performance than last years models like the a52 a a52s I guarantee in the next update it will have all its problem ans bugs fixded it will receive the updates it deserves samsung doesn't just give you new things and gives up remember when the s22 ultra came out the note 20 ultra was beating it in speed tests
@@davidjohntough9115 agreed. To bad Samsung doesn't optimize their midrange phones enough so they would feel at least as snappy as most of their Chinese counterparts with the same 778G for example.
Love the screen of this phone is so vibrant when i saw it in store it was next to an iphone 13 and a samsung S21 fe and they were more vibrant than the iphone 13 normal
I bought one 2 weeks ago and had to replace it as the screen kept freezing. Hopefully the replacement won't react in the same way. I do love it, though!
The funny thing is for me is that I’m standing between this one and iPhone 14 pro 😂 I know totally different price point and iOS vs android but I love them both in different ways 😅
Whatever phone you have, the first thing is, it will be filled with a load of stuff you don't need, the OS will download even more rubbish and the battery will degrade rapidly. My old J3 still just about works on it's second replaceable battery but keeps being overloaded so I've upgraded to an A53...but the first thing I noticed was the old J3 just about worked on 8GB but 30GB was used up on the new phones 128GB internal memory without downloading any apps!
I have had it since it launched. I pre ordered it. I have no issues with it. Like you said good battery life. Could be a little bit faster for gamers but I don't game. So it's been working so well for me. I came from one plus phones and oxygen os was very clean this seems to be too. I have also gotten monthly security updates 2x so far. Just got the may 2022 one today. Is it as good as an s22+ maybe not... is it a great phone for the price I think it is.
@@markoroncevic it does not exist for us in the US we never got the A52s 5g. Samsung doesn't always offer all its mid range phones here because the competition isn't the same
Went from OnePlus one to OnePlus six to now probably the a53. Never wanted to spend ridiculous amounts. Just need big battery and for the phone to survive 5 years.
I just pulled the trigger on an upgrade from the S10e myself. Battery life is obviously way way better (S10e only has 3100mAh compared to the A53's 5000mAh), although it does seem like the processor might be a bit weaker. Memory is the same, and they both have expandable storage as well. No headphone jack, if that's important to you. Overall, I'd say the A53 5g is the better phone, and it will be better in the long haul, with updates for the next 4 years (according to Samsung). My S10e is getting close to 80% battery capacity, which is quite awful considering where it started at.
Exynos is much cheaper to put into a phone, though. That's why Samsung boosted the battery compared to the A52 (which has the Snapdragon). The CPU is definitely where the most compromise is found on this device, compared to the A52, as well as the S-series. But since you're getting it for half (or less) of the price of any of the S-series, I'd say it's not a bad compromise.
I had the Samsung A 73. My battery died soo fast. 😢 recently I got the Samsung A 53 and honestly the battery life on this last all day. I paid more for the A73 but honestly I prefer the A53. I run tik tok my music app fb &honestly she beautiful &lighter. 😍
Still priced a bit too high compared to viable alternative devices. No charger included in the box unless your retailer bundles one. 3.5 mm audio jack is gone this year. No Wi-Fi 6 support and no FM radio. The new Exynos 1280 chipset performs worse than the Snapdragon 778G it replaces. Camera quality is a mixed bag. Video stabilization only available in 1080p. Donot buy anymore...
I went from a 11 pro Max to a A52 4G then went back to iPhone but then came back to Samsung & got the A53 5G & I was big on flagship devices but the A series are getting better which is good but price wise I paid 500 for my A52 4G & the A53 5G was $649 down to $500
@@silverxmoonn I would have to give that to the iPhone but I use the camera & play codm & both phones are more then capable to do so with ease the camera is still great but with the zoom on the A53 the photos get a little grainy around 5x & it is capable of 10x but the photos are not usable
Maybe this will sound funny but from when does the four years of software updates begin to count, from the year the device was launched or from the time you take it out of the box to start using it?
My 3 Reasons To Purchase This Absolutely Splendid Phone: I. Although I Rather More Prefer A Display Size Of 6.6 & Larger...6.5 Is Acceptable II. It Has At Least A 5000mAh Battery III. It Has An Exynos Processor At Least~If Not A Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor...But Thankfully Not A Bloody Rubbish Bin Mediatek Processor...It's Practically A Flagship Level Phone Without The Flagship Price...The Premium Design And Nearly Zero Bezels Is Absolutely Splendid...
@@yudishj74 mine has been fine. I watch more stuff than game, let's be honest if you are buying this it is for basics and some sprinkles. Gets the job done and I usually have 30-40% left from 6 to 11pm. Since I got it no issues. So, yay
I have been using for 2 weeks i guess battery is good for day to day use. Gaming drains alot with game mode and plugins on. Exynos is for camera and battery so till now all I can get is medium graphics hope developers optimize for gaming as well, I think it should be able to handle hd graphics.
Hows the refresh rate on this phone? I bought a52 5g from asia, brought it here in the US and its freakn struggling, text comes late and 5g not compatible.
It won't work anywhere in the world. It hasn't even came out yet. Remember when the Tesla truck (that never came out) had unbreakable glass and it broke during their reveal? I do.
2:06 Shhh, say that part even louder, we don't want Samsung to catch on that you can get the same battery as the Ultra for much much much much less lol. One of the main reasons to get that phone imo, these phones are getting better and better at doing a lot more things, but battery technology never catches up...so bigger batter is always better.
I think that video really was useful for me because I had a galaxy A22 and it was not as expected it turned out to be really bad so I do not recommend anybody to buy galaxy A22 and my dad wanted to buy me a new phone and bought for me galaxy A53 so this video really is useful for me cause now I know that the phone is a really good type one I wanna thank you for the very useful information ❤️👌🏻
Not impressed with A53.. Finger print sensor doesn't work with protective case which is a Must have, face recognition doesn't work properly either. No Aux port or charger wall vox. And can't shake phone to turn on Flashlight, which I truly enjoyed with my Motorola
Yet I think you should buy the A33 5G and not the 33% to 50% more expensive A53 5G (acc. to current market prices). They are almost the same after all.
3 reasons not to buy:- 1 - fingerprint is trash, my friend was able to open my phone without his fingerprint being registered (multiple times even after cleaning) 2 - lots of bugs and comes without charger 3 - you can't be on call for more than 20 mins unless you wanna barbeque your face
I sm using this phone A 53 since last 5 days ..Heating issue while video call and scan pages by adobe scan ...very high heated. Than any other phone ...please fix this issue .
I had an offer on A53 8ram/256Gb of 430$ or a Note 20 8ram/256Gb open box brand new for 470$ and they'd buy my current phone A70 for 90$.. what should I do? I want to upgrade but I don't want to spend a lot of money. I really like the note 20 bronze colour and looks but I'm afraid it's old and won't be supported for long however, I also don't want to upgrade to a phone that's not so different than mine.
@@Vidhu.1 With a lot of battery optimizations, you have to give the phone a few weeks to get use to how you use apps. A lot of reviewers don't give it 2-3 weeks before they do their review, which will give you bad information on battery optimization.
