What is Bootstrap?
Is the most popular and most used front-end framework with HTML and CSS templates for UI interface elements such as buttons and forms. With Bootstrap you can build complex models in no time which is easy and customizable.
Why should you use it?
✅ Responsive grid - It has a responsive layout and grid system which dynamically aligns with screen resolution.
✅ Responsive images - It resizes based on the current screen resolution by adding a responsive class to it.
✅ Community - Being an open-source framework it has amazing support from the developers and contributors. This helps to use it widely without any trouble.

"What is boostrap?" "Basically an drag and drop nocode library/plataform.". When I learned bootstrap while was studying I basically felt useless. But It's pretty damn useful for freelancing

most popular famework = bootstrap most useful framework = tailwind css

Every video I do research on bootstrap I find you people, just spamming tailwind. Any framework can be useful, bootstrap is faster to develop and easier to make profits with. Tailwind is ok if you really need to customize every little pixel, from a Figma template or other design. Pure clean CSS is king, but the slowest to develop. Personally I recommend starting bootstrap for all beginners since you will create projects much faster, and maybe later down the road they can explore something like Tailwind. Heck, you can even use something like "Webflow" as a front-end framework that is pixel perfect, and then use React for all you application needs.

I like how people always argue about customizability and the fact that you are limited... If you want to try to build the next big thing and want everything to be something "new" that was never built before than yes, maybe you should chose something else. But people will not give a fuck about how custom everything is. They will be like "oh, nice website", and then go grab a coffee and continue minding their own. If you want something useful that people will actually really use because they are used to the styling and they know generally where are the things and what they do, then you can easily use boostrap. It will fasten up the process and you can focus on the business logic instead of putting everything "to the mostly right place".

That's so true! Writing vanilla css from scratch is cumbersome, thank god for frameworks!

Well spoken. You were able to cover all the key aspects of bootstraps concisely. Please keep up the great work in conveying such meaningful information with all of these kinds of animation. 😊 it is enjoyable to watch as well apart from learning so many useful new topics.

Meh, it's good for basic stuff if you don't want to focus on frontend too much. But if you want to create custom components and layouts, it gets in the way. If you use React, it's better to use MUI. If you want full customizability, Tailwind is the way to go.

Please respond to my comment above, I Love all 3 of the frameworks/libraries but only want to rely on one (can't use Tailwind because I'm still a beginner and it'll take more time to learn Tailwind and it'll slow down the rest of the stuff like backend, JavaScript etc. If you can't find my main comment, I'll type it all out again so please help if possible

Just got into using bootstrap and it's been fun to play with. I want to learn Figma, but can I use bootstrap and something like figms together??
@dontreadmyusername6787
@dontreadmyusername6787 Год назад
Depends on how you want to built your website if its with html,css and js framework then only figma design will help otherwise there are component libraries like anima that alow you to bring your design to life without coding...bootstrap is optional ofcourse

Bootstrap is very not optimal but so many website were built using it, and that's the only reason to use it.. Tailwind is better, and baked CSS I'd infinitely better when you have enough xp

Hey all, is there any project or a fork of Bootstrap which has the colors, buttons and animation of Matrialize UI? It's a pain to use 2 libraries when all I want is a few parts of Matrialize UI. I'm a compete novice when it comes to forking any GitHub project so making my own fork of BS5 with Materialize UI parts is an impossible task for me. I would use Materialize UI itself but it requires a lot of jQuery for some things BS5 does without a problem
@fueledbycoffee583
@fueledbycoffee583 Год назад
Actually, i would just overwrite the bootstrap styles for this. i use only bootstrap for the responsive layout i NEVER use the default bootstrap theme. you can do it by using SASS or just creating another CSS file overwriting bootstrap classes. the latter one can slow down you webpage load speed tho
@blackpurple9163
@blackpurple9163 Год назад
@@fueledbycoffee583 yes, the grid and the built in components like sidebar, carousel, scrollspy etc are the only things I need from even bootstrap, but man it's convenient
@fueledbycoffee583
@fueledbycoffee583 Год назад
@@blackpurple9163 i also do them myself. I just aid myself with bootstrap utility classes to build them. Boostrap as a utility library, not a comoponents library
