Hello, maestro! Have You also considered a dual heat treatment, e.g. like TOPS did do on Silent Hero? BTW, what is Your opinion, does this kind of HT provide ever any sense, or is it just a "redundancy"?
Differential Heat treatment works best for large chopping blades, machete and swords. Typically A softer spine will take more abuse However I have yet to have a blade break on me with the company i use for my heat treatment.
